So thanks to wonderful input from everyone here I had settled on a nearly final name for my daughter due in January:
Beatrix Lillian Marie
Or
Beatrix Lillian Snow
Then last night my husband enthusiastically brought up Philippa nickname Pippa. Which I also love. And it has the added bonus of my husband being really into it. He was fine with Beatrix but not like in love. I adore both Philippa and Pippa and think Pippa is such an endearing nn for a youngest child (she will be the youngest of 6 in a blended family!).
So what I need is opinions on Philippa vs Beatrix and also help with middle names! It’s important to me that this baby’s name fits in well with my two olders who are:
Cecily Frances March
Jasper John Elliot
And I need to stick with the double barrel middle that has some sort of personal or familial significance. Here are some middles I’ve had floating around:
Violet (I love that this means remembrance and think it’s a nice way of honoring my father who was William Edward without putting too fine a point on it)
Vivian (just like the sound with Philippa)
Marie (family name)
Margaret or Marguerite or Daisy (family names)
Snow (family name)
Elizabeth (family name)
Jane (family name although my cousin just used it as a middle for her daughter)
Something to honor the fact that she was conceived on Easter Sunday!?!
Philippa is kind of long so I’m more drawn to the shorter middles but lyricism and flow is important to me.
Wow, it’s a hard choice! Both names are really so beautiful and go with Cecily & Jasper wonderfully.
Even though I personally slightly prefer Beatrix to Pippa, I’m inclined to advocate for Philippa “Pippa” for you, since both you and your husband love it, which is obviously very important!
For combos, I think Philippa Margaret Snow or Philippa Vivian Marie sound really beautiful - both elegant and approachable! Though, if you want something shorter like you were saying, I think Philippa Snow Marie or Philippa Violet Jane would also be very nice.

Honestly if I had Snow as a family name I’d be using it like a shot, it’s so pretty.
Pippa and Beatrix both go really well with your sibset - I’d be inclined to say Beatrix slightly more, but Pippa brings Philippa more in line with the others aesthetically imo.
I think you have several wonderful options but what I love about [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] “Pippa” is that both parents love it. I think that it is such a loving way to approach naming a baby you are bringing into this world together

Leftover snow melting, looks like a pearly blanket, and horses are out to graze again… very Easter-y by way of springtime and so pleasant.

I feel pretty equally about [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] but the fact that both of you really like [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] and it seems to be trending less makes me vote for [name_f]Philippa[/name_f].
