Picky Parents

This is probably my favorite game that I’ve played so far. You make a name from the requirements in the post above and then you make up requirements of your own! It goes like this:

[name_f]Molly[/name_f] and [name_m]Jim[/name_m] are having their first baby, and It’s a boy! they want a name that is long with a middle name shorter than six letters.

[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]

Now I start:

[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] and [name_m]Mack[/name_m] have two sons whose names start with J and are longer than 5 letters, their first son’s middle name is the surname of a biracial president, and their other son’s middle name is in honor of [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]'s late grandpa Machiavelli [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] but not [name_m]Mack[/name_m] or [name_u]Chris[/name_u]. They are having their first daughter in a few months. They want her name to start with V, be longer than 5 letters and her middle name should honor [name_m]Mack[/name_m]'s late mother [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f].

[name_m]Joseph[/name_m] [name_m]Coolidge[/name_m]

Their second daughter’s name starts with D and is longer than five letters, her middle name starts with W and is shorter than 5 letters. Their third son’s name starts with E and is longer than 4 letters, his middle name is less than 4 letters starting with V but not [name_u]Vic[/name_u]. Their third daughter’s name starts with F and is longer than 3 letters, her middle name starts with U and is shorter than U. For their last two kids they are changing it up a bit. Their son’s name should start with G and is longer than 2 letters, for the middle name it should start with T and be longer than two letters but not [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], and their daughters name should start with H and be longer than one letter, with a middle name longer than one letter that starts with S.

[name_u]Jules[/name_u] and [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] are expecting a baby boy. His older siblings will be Andesite [name_u]James[/name_u] ([name_f]Andi[/name_f]) and Diorite [name_u]Jess[/name_u] ([name_f]Di[/name_f]). They want a rock name as a first name (it should come with a cute nickname), and a one-syllable middle name that starts with J.

[name_f]Peridot[/name_f] [name_m]Jax[/name_m] ([name_u]Perry[/name_u])

[name_m]Adam[/name_m] and [name_f]Hanna[/name_f] have two boys and a girl. All of their children have long southern first names with cute nicknames and since the couple loves to travel, place middle names.

[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] “[name_f]Nolie[/name_f]” [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_m]Beauregard[/name_m] “[name_u]Beau[/name_u]” [name_m]Santiago[/name_m]

Rill [name_u]November[/name_u]

[name_m]Ben[/name_m] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] were thrilled to adopt three siblings who have been in the foster system for years. The seven year old girl has an uncommon first name with 10 letters and a gender-neutral middle name of 5 letters or less. The nine year old boy has a one-syllable masculine first name and a three-syllable middle name that is outside of the top 1000 names from last year. The thirteen year old boy has a unique gender-neutral first name and a middle name inspired by fairy tales or fantasy.

[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] [name_m]Emmanuel[/name_m]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] are having twins; their genders are a surprise! They want strong sounding British names (bonus points if they have connections to British history or royalty!) and their middle names should in some way honour any of their grandparents; [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f], [name_m]Stephen[/name_m], [name_m]Richard[/name_m] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].

I would use any of these combinations:
[name_f]Bronwen[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]

[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Janis[/name_f] ([name_f]Janis[/name_f] [name_m]Joplin[/name_m])

[name_u]Michael[/name_u] and [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] came of age in the 2000s and want their seven children (3 boys and 4 girls) to be named after their favourite characters from shows which aired in the 2000s. Their middle names are after popular pop stars/musicians from the same era.

[HR][/HR]After a bountiful fertility treatment, [name_u]Gary[/name_u] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] need a set of 6 names (3 boys and 3 girls) for their new brood.

  1. They want double middles for each child, so that each set of initials spells a pleasant and gender-fitting three-letter word.

  2. The first names MUST come from their namebank of Australiana:

[name_m]Angus[/name_m] [name_f]Beryl[/name_f] [name_f]Bev[/name_f]
Anzac [name_f]Bridie[/name_f] Kel
[name_u]Banjo[/name_u] [name_f]Dimity[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_u]Barry[/name_u] [name_f]Donna[/name_f] [name_u]Tracey[/name_u]
[name_u]Bevan[/name_u] Eureka
[name_m]Bruce[/name_m] [name_f]Jacaranda[/name_f]
[name_m]Craig[/name_m] [name_u]Kimberly[/name_u]
[name_u]Darren[/name_u] [name_f]Kylie[/name_f]
[name_u]Darryl[/name_u] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_f]Melba[/name_f]
Gough [name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_u]Kerry[/name_u] Narelle
[name_m]Ned[/name_m] [name_f]Nellie[/name_f]
Roo [name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_m]Wayne[/name_m] [name_f]Sharon[/name_f]
  1. Both middles should complement each first name stylistically, while making them sound a little more modern and international. But nothing too “hipster”, or with unusual spelling.

  2. No child should have more than 8 syllables, or less than 5.
