Thanks for all the great feedback!
I love [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and I think it fits perfectly with your boys ! I don’t think it sounds too close to [name_u]Micah[/name_u] as they only really share the same end sound, but there’s enough difference it the other letters for this not to be too noticable.
I think [name_u]Piper[/name_u] sounds great with [name_u]Micah[/name_u] and and [name_u]Casey[/name_u]! I don’t think it sounds similar to [name_u]Micah[/name_u] at all. I also don’t think the [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] thing will be an issue, it’s just a funny and cute happenstance. However if you are really worried or dislike that connection, I would suggest [name_u]Harper[/name_u]! It sounds similar to [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and also goes well with [name_u]Micah[/name_u] and [name_u]Casey[/name_u].
I’ve always had a soft spot for [name_u]Piper[/name_u]! I think it goes really well with [name_u]Micah[/name_u] and [name_u]Casey[/name_u] too, though both [name_u]Micah[/name_u] and [name_u]Piper[/name_u] share the ‘eye’ sound they don’t really have much else in common.
I think the [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] link is completely adorable and definitely not something to avoid using the name because of! If people notice it when she’s little, it’s really sweet. If people notice when she’s older, well, what a weird coincidence…
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] is great! [name_u]Casey[/name_u], [name_u]Micah[/name_u], and [name_u]Piper[/name_u] sound great to me as a set. Spunky and strong… I love it! The [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] thing is a little strange, but I don’t think it has to be a deal breaker. It will mostly be [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and Dad, right

While I personally don’t like the name [name_u]Piper[/name_u], I think it does fit well with your sibset. At least with a Northeast US accent, it doesn’t sound similar at all to [name_u]Micah[/name_u]. If you’re in the Southern US, they’re a bit more similar, with the stress on the vowels, but overall I think they’re different enough. Also, I would not make the “[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Piper[/name_u]” connection, especially since your husband is now “Dad” most of the time.
Thank you all for the great feedback! We are not sharing the name with family or friends until she’s born, so it’s nice to hear some ‘outside’ opinions… wasn’t sure if I was over thinking things. I am feeling better about it!
I adore [name_u]Piper[/name_u]!!! I think it goes well with your boys! And I never would have thought of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] on my own
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] is a great fit with [name_u]Casey[/name_u] and [name_u]Micah[/name_u]! I think the [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] connection is cute.
I really like [name_u]Piper[/name_u] for you and it fits well with your boys’ names. The [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] thing isn’t something that would bother me at all. It’s a cute little rhyme and nothing offensive, is something that may get mentioned initially but nothing that would stick. Nice choice!
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] is super cute! It goes well with your boys names…but the [name_m]Peter[/name_m] piper thing would totally put me off too!
I don’t think it’s a big enough deal to not use the name but I do imagine it’ll get brought up from time to time. If having that connection bothers you maybe look at some more names just to make sure you really love it enough to look past that.
