Is it too crazy?
Maybe… :-/ I like it thoug! [name]One[/name] of my favorites is [name]Peri[/name]. Sort of similar!’
No, but it’s way too cutesy.
I would hate to be an adult woman called [name]Pixie[/name], with no other name to fall back on. Maybe give her another P name, and just use it as a nickname.
It’s too cutesy AND too crazy for me. I can’t imagine being named [name]Pixie[/name] (at all.) Especially someone who’s a professional named [name]Pixie[/name]. Sorry!

In theory I love it. It is adorable and cute. Maybe too cute?
I think if it were a double barrel name it might work.
[name]Pixie[/name]-[name]Rose[/name]
[name]Pixie[/name]-[name]Jane[/name]
It’s a great name for celebrities or children of celebrities. It would be a difficult name for an awkward or uncool child to pull off. (But of course, we won’t have one of those!)
A great name, though, for a kitten.
I agree with jeska-- I could get behind [name]Pixie[/name] if it were an nn for another, more formal P name.
it’s an ok nn or pet name (not for an animal, i mean like “sweetie pie”) and i can see why you’d like it, but it’s terrible on its own. your kid needs something more substantial for real life. Maybe [name]Prisca[/name]? [name]Pascale[/name]? [name]Philippa[/name]?
I actually agree with a lot of these comments. It probably is way too cutesy and doesn’t really suit a professional or an adult. But it would make a great nn, thanks to all who suggested it. xx
Thanks for putting it on my radar. My new favorite name is [name]Cordelia[/name]. My husbands native language is French and in French, cour de leon means ‘lion heart’. Isn’t that cool? But in some ways I think it’s a little to heavy on the fancy end of things. [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Pixie[/name] however, has a darling zing to it, wouldn’t you say?
I get the appeal, but I think that it could be really difficult to pull off. I think that it could be really cute as a nickname, but I wouldn’t advise using it as a given first name.
I just looked up and read your last post after writing that. [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Pixie[/name] is a really great combination! Those names really complement each other well.
I love it, and would seriously consider it except it would sound too matchy with our last name. I think you’d get a lot of raised eyebrows though!
Personally I would go with [name]Fey[/name]/[name]Fay[/name]/[name]Faye[/name] instead, since it means “fairy”.
