[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
[name_f]Matea[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] (I do prefer [name_f]Luisa[/name_f] but my husband has vetoed it bc it is too common among Colombians)

Thank you!!!

Anyone?

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] are my favorites but I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them!

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - I like this, it’s short and sweet, and has a pretty picture of [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. I know it’s already short, but Vee as a nn is really adorable.

[name_f]Willa[/name_f] - I like this, but I prefer more feminine names. I don’t particularly like female versions of male names, and this just makes me think of [name_m]William[/name_m].

[name_f]Ines[/name_f] - not my style, but I can see the appeal

[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - universal, beautiful, melodic, pretty. I love it.

[name_f]Matea[/name_f] - see [name_f]Willa[/name_f]

[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] - pronounced lu-[name_u]SI[/name_u]-a, this name is amazing; lu-sha is alright. The latin/Italian lu-chi-a is also nice. I love the meaning of light. It’s pretty.

[name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] - I don’t personally like the “weeze” in any [name_f]Louise[/name_f]/[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] name.

My favorite is probably [name_f]Luna[/name_f] first, then [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], and then [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. Good luck!

[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] [name_f]Matea[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] [name_f]Ines[/name_f] & [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] in that order. [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is nms.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_f]Matea[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] & [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] are all lovely. [name_f]IMO[/name_f]

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] – I like it, seems very current. Might not suit someone in late adulthood (50s-60s).
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] – Like it. Might get confused with [name_f]Willow[/name_f] but not a huge deal.
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] – [name_u]Love[/name_u] it. Probably works best on a latina baby. Some Americans will say eye-NEZ which is kind of awful but shouldn’t stop you from using it.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] – A little too trendy/modern for me.
[name_f]Matea[/name_f] – Seems masculine to me. Reminds me of [name_f]Michaela[/name_f]/[name_f]Mikayla[/name_f] which I don’t really like and sound a bit 90s.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] – pretty but not my favorite. I like [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] though it is pretty long and she might just become [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] – love this one too. Probably also best on a latina baby, but sounds like husband is Colombian?

All are fine names, but I’d order them in preference as: [name_f]Luna[/name_f] - [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] - [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] - [name_f]Willa[/name_f] - [name_f]Ines[/name_f] - [name_f]Matea[/name_f] - [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].

Some thoughts:

The ll in [name_f]Willa[/name_f] and the i in [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] are pronounced differently in Spanish than in English, while [name_f]Ines[/name_f] might be mispronounced in English.

[name_f]Matea[/name_f] sounds very antiquated to me, as do most Spanish feminizations of male names.

[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] are both on my long list and I think they fit best in terms of style and respective popularity.

Gorgeous names!

My favourites in order of preference are:

I really like [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f], [name_f]Matea[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] (in that order).

[name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] are not my favorites.
