We desperatly need help finding a middle name for our expected girl. I have agreed to let my husband choose the middle name as long as it flows nicely with the first name.
He is at a loss for ideas, so I told him the Berries could come up with a list of middle name possibilities to choose from.
It is a girl and we like the the first name of [name]Miller[/name].
What is good middle name for [name]Miller[/name]?
I agree that it needs to be a very feminine name, to balance out the the gender neutral (laying more towards the masculine side) name [name]Miller[/name]. That said, i actually really like [name]Miller[/name] on a girl, its refreshing. I’m not typically one for using boys names on girls, but i guess the double “L” and soft “M” is making this name feel somewhat feminine, plus you have the 100% female nn of [name]Milly[/name]/[name]Millie[/name]!

I agree with Frenchie, [name]Miller[/name] is a little gender ambiguous so you really need a feminine name (although it doesn’t have to be overly frilly) in the middle slot so that on paper, people know she’s a girl. I don’t think names beginning with vowels work too well after [name]Miller[/name] as it seems to make the combo a bit of a mouthfull, as do middles beginning with L. I also think 1, 3 or 4 syllable middles would flow best with the 2 syllable first. I won’t suggest any ending with an “uh” sound as it can seem rhymey with [name]Miller[/name], but it may not bother you and you might really like something like [name]Miller[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. If so I can suggest some more! I’m not entirely sure of your style so I’ll offer a variety of ideas:
I think [name]Milly[/name] would be a great nickname for [name]Miller[/name], as would be [name]Mimi[/name]! For [name]Mimi[/name], either use an M middle name ([name]Miller[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]) or specifically an Mi- middle name ([name]Miller[/name] [name]Mia[/name], [name]Miller[/name] [name]Michaela[/name], [name]Miller[/name] [name]Milena[/name], [name]Miller[/name] [name]Mira[/name], [name]Miller[/name] [name]Mirabeau[/name], [name]Miller[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name], [name]Miller[/name] [name]Miranda[/name], [name]Miller[/name] [name]Mireille[/name], [name]Miller[/name] [name]Miriam[/name]).
