I am making a new list of girl favorites, and the only name I don’t have and cannot find the pronunciation for is:
[name_m]Aeric[/name_m] / Airic
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

What specific Celtic language does it come from? Irish Gaelic, Scottish Gaelic, Welsh, Cornish, [name_m]Breton[/name_m], Manx?
Irish… almost positive.
What I found for [name_m]Aeric[/name_m] is AY-rick
AY-rick? I’ve never come across it before but that seems like the most logical.
I’ve only seen this on boys, pronounced like [name_m]Eric[/name_m]/[name_m]Erik[/name_m].
I’ve just realised you posted this in the Girls’ board so it’s female? Because I’d assumed it was male oops.
Since it’s feminine I think it might be related to the Irish name [name_f]Aifric[/name_f]? Because I’m pretty sure the first syllable of that is a flat ‘ah’ sound? [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t quote me on that, though!
Thank you both.
