I have a 4th baby on the way and I need help finding a name that is feminine, classy, and prestigious.
I named my other 3 girls [name_f]Tiffany[/name_f], [name_f]Chanel[/name_f], and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].
[name_f]Tiffany[/name_f] because of [name_f]Tiffany[/name_f] & Co, [name_f]Chanel[/name_f] because of [name_f]Coco[/name_f] [name_f]Chanel[/name_f], and Victoria because of [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]'s [name_f]Secret[/name_f].
I would like to keep this theme going… so please help me find another name that would fit in with these. I would prefer that the name be somehow related to some type of designer brand that is similar to the above that women like and makes you think of class, prestige, and is feminine and pretty when you say it.
What about a place name like [name_u]Milan[/name_u] or [name_u]Paris[/name_u]? Not brand names, but [name_u]Milan[/name_u] makes me think of cutting-edge fashion and luxury.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] – for [name_f]Stella[/name_f] McCartney? Or maybe Marchesa?
[name_u]Paris[/name_u] is a possibility… I’m a bit nervous of the connection between [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Hilton[/name_m] who may not really be that “classy” or “tasteful” but I do love [name_u]Paris[/name_u], [name_f]France[/name_f] and the imagery that [name_u]Paris[/name_u] brings to mind of romance, so maybe.
[name_f]Vera[/name_f]- [name_f]Vera[/name_f] Wang
[name_f]Valentina[/name_f]- [name_m]Valentino[/name_m] Garavani
[name_f]Dior[/name_f]- [name_m]Christian[/name_m] [name_f]Dior[/name_f]
[name_f]Lauren[/name_f]- [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] [name_f]Lauren[/name_f]
Bloom- Bloomingdales (Might be a little too unique but I think it would make a cute middle name)
Dolce- Dolce & Gabbana
[name_f]Donatella[/name_f]- [name_f]Donatella[/name_f] Versace
I think you have to be careful here not to use something that’s too obviously branded, or it would come off a bit tacky. I think Versace would be a bit much, as it’s so closely associated with the brand and doesn’t really scan as a first name. [name_u]Chelsea[/name_u] or [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], on the other hand, work well.
Other ideas
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] - [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u], and the famous [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] bag [name_m]Hermes[/name_m] named after her.
[name_f]Jeanne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f] - [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f] Lanvin
[name_f]Diane[/name_f] - [name_f]Diane[/name_f] von Furstenberg, bonus [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] association
[name_f]Vera[/name_f] - [name_f]Vera[/name_f] Wang
[name_f]Allegra[/name_f] - the name of [name_f]Donatella[/name_f] Versace’s daughter
[name_f]Celine[/name_f] - a brand, but also a perfectly respectable first name
My first thought was Stella for Stella McCarthy! What about…
Bella for Bella Freud
Carolina for Carolina Herrera
Charlotte or Olympia for Charlotte Olympia
Chloe for Chloe
Diana or Diane for Diane Von Furstenburg
Ellery for Ellery
Emilia for Emilia Wickstead
Isabel for Isabel Marant
Perla for La Perla
Elizabeth for Elizabeth and James
Marchesa for Marchesa Notte
Tabitha for Tabitha Simmons
Celine for Celine
Alessandra for Alessandra Rich
Alice or Olivia for Alice + Olivia
Kate for Kate Spade
Karen for Karen Millen
Raquel or Allegra for Raquel Allegra
Yes, I have a massive shopping addiction.
Edit:
On the note of chic place names how about…
Sloane for Sloane Square
Vienna
Roma or Rome for well…Rome
Elysee for Champs d’Elysee - maybe a bit out there?
I like Estée for E. Lauder
but also [name_f]Helena[/name_f] for Rubenstein.
They may be passé in terms of todays chic fashion but I think share the subtlety of [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].
