Heyy! So, I would really like some names for a boy that start with a “w”. Now, my wife, is a [name_f]Walentyna[/name_f] and I am a [name_f]Waverley[/name_f] so we cannot use Walentyne or [name_f]Waverley[/name_f] (which, though, I am a woman I actually like on a boy)
Now logically, we should name our child something that doesn’t start with a “w”. Problem is that our six other children already have “w” names and most “w” names sound overwhelmingly similar to theirs’. And since all our children’s names start with a W our criteria is very sharp. Their nicknames and middle names all begin with different letters. This makes the search even harder. [name_m]Even[/name_m] further, my wife is Polish and my mother’ side of the family Greek which means we have to find middle names to relate to our cultures. The middle name stuff however comes after the first name stuff so let’s forget that for a while.
We really don’t want names similar to our kids’ names and most of the w names sound quite the same We have [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_u]Wallace[/name_u] [name_m]Calixto[/name_m] nn [name_m]Ace[/name_m], twins [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Matylda[/name_f] nn [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] and [name_f]Wrenley[/name_f] [name_f]Kasienka[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rennie[/name_u], [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f] [name_f]Izabel[/name_f] nn Eria and finally [name_m]Westbrook[/name_m] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] nn [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]. Now, at one point in his life we thought [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] was a girl and we used to call him Winonna [name_f]Zefiryn[/name_f] and we still really like the name! So we were thinking to (kinda) honour that name and we found the Polish Wienczyslaw and spelling variations. We really like the name with the nn [name_m]Chess[/name_m] or [name_u]Chase[/name_u] though the latter might be a little far fetched.
Other names we considered are:
[name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] nn [name_u]Drew[/name_u] (maybe [name_m]Woody[/name_m]? We’re not sure about w nicknames at all)
[name_m]Walter[/name_m] nn [name_m]Walt[/name_m] (we really like this!)
Wiktor nn [name_m]Tor[/name_m]/Torro
It doesn’t really matter how hard the name is to pronounce because we speak six languages lol and anyone else can just use the nicknames for accessibility purposes! Please suggest more names because we really need all the help! Any responses are appreciated! I know the criteria is tough but I hope you guys can help me out!
