What does the kitten look like?
I don’t have any specific name ideas, but if the first cat is named after the [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] character or the star, then I think a space-related or [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] related name will fit, if you’re going for a theme.
I think a little more information would be helpful, though. Congratulations on a new kitten! You’re so lucky!

[name_m]Sirius[/name_m] is named after the star. Isn’t it a handsome name? Anyway, we wanted to use Reve because it means dream in [name_m]French[/name_m]. I’ve once dreamed of owning an orange tabby cat a long time ago. It may become our reality!
We’ll see. If he decides that he is ours, his name could sort of refer to the “Shoot for the Stars” thing. I know it’s a bit far-fetched, but I like it!
I’ve been feeling that [name_m]Linus[/name_m] might not work with Reve. For some reason, it’s an eyesore.
If I think of a good combo, I’d use something like Reve [name_u]August[/name_u]. I cannot use [name_u]August[/name_u] as I want to use it for son someday. What would you suggest?

Not sure how to pronounce Reve? So these suggestions may not work.

Thanks for your suggestions. We’re very well aware of the ironic meaning, but it also means the brightest star in the sky.
We finally decided on a name! After many hours of discussion, we both agreed that Reve wasn’t for us. We didn’t use [name_m]Linus[/name_m] or [name_m]Linas[/name_m] either.
So? We have named him Liebe [name_u]Valo[/name_u]! Liebe, pronounced [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-beh, means love in [name_m]German[/name_m]. [name_u]Valo[/name_u] is the Finnish word for light. It fits him perfectly.
We also like that while it goes with [name_m]Sirius[/name_m]’ name, it has its own charm.
