A family member is considering this name for their new baby girl, it’s the Italian word for [name]Poem[/name]. Personally I love it, I love it’s soft sound and it feels like a merge between the ‘new age’ [name]Poem[/name] and the classic [name]Emma[/name]. What do the berries think?
Honestly, I wouldn’t use it for my daughter. But I think it’s an interesting choice. I would be impressed to meet a little Poema.
I prefer [name]Paloma[/name], which is similar in sound. It means “[name]Dove[/name]” in Spanish!
I actually really like it! [name]Poet[/name] has been a GP of mine for a while, and I like the crossover between it and the sweet, classic [name]Emma[/name].
Poema is different, but I like it. I would worry that she’d end up hating poetry though.
It sounds really pretty, but I’m not sure how well it would work in real life.
I think it’s quite neat! Sweet, soft and sensitive. The trouble would be using it…it’s one of the names that seem difficult as a first name but I don’t think I’d like it in the middle nor do I have the Italian heritage to back up my use of it.
I prefer Poette to Poema. [name]Little[/name] softer feel to me.
