I like the look of [name_f]Leila[/name_f] and [name_f]Layla[/name_f]
I made a poll similar to this a couple of weeks ago. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite has always been [name_f]Leila[/name_f] (and that was the most voted in my poll). I love how it looks. To me [name_f]Layla[/name_f] and [name_f]Leyla[/name_f] look sort of made up/ trendy. [name_f]Laila[/name_f] is OK but I much prefer [name_f]Leila[/name_f]. It looks much more traditional (not sure if it is). Anyway, that’s my opinion.
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] seems the most intuitive to me. I love how [name_f]Leila[/name_f] looks, and I personally would pronounce it “lay-luh”, but I’ve heard many people say it “lee-luh” so I don’t think it’s the best spelling if you’re going for the most intuitive to “lay-luh”
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] or [name_f]Laila[/name_f].
[name_f]Leyla[/name_f], [name_f]Leila[/name_f], and [name_m]Le[/name_m] to me is [name_f]Leela[/name_f] to me. I do prefer that pronunciation tho!
leila, but im biased :] its kind of the hawaiian version of naming your kid diablo
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] is sort of the most “traditional” anglization and is the one I like the most visually thiugh it is occasionally mispronounced. I’ve found in those cases people usually don’t need to be corrected more than once though.
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] is probably the most intuitive variation overall and would be my second choice.
