Which do you prefer or love the most?
What about naming a daughter [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f], but also calling her [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] or Esmé?
[name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] is beautiful! [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] and [name_f]Esme[/name_f] are great nicknames. You could also go with [name_f]Em[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmi[/name_f]/[name_f]Emmie[/name_f].

I love it!! [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] has a classic feel while still being unique and unexpected; the nickname [name_f]Esme[/name_f] gives it a modern twist. [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is also cute. I can imagine her nursery having emerald green accents.

Esmeralda for sure! [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is cute! [name_f]My[/name_f] only problem with it is that [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] was a character in the tragic novel The hunchback of Notre Dame. She’s not necessarily a bad character, but her story is pretty sad.
