I posted a previous thread about this but now I figured out how to create a poll! So, full background on the name, it is an anglicization of the the Irish name “[name_f]Onora[/name_f]” which means honor. It appears twice in my family tree. [name_f]My[/name_f] 4x great grandmother, born in [name_f]Ireland[/name_f] in 1821 was “Hannorah.” Another relative, born in 1944, was “Hanora.” I’m leaning toward Hanora, but would love your vote on which spelling you like best! Her middle name would be either “[name_u]Andrea[/name_u]” or “[name_u]Louise[/name_u],” after my husbands very beloved grandmother.
So, which spelling do you like?

I enjoy Hanorah but I feel Hanora is a more instinctive spelling

They’re all great personally I feel the streamlined appearance of Hanora is more appealing. Hanorah for some reason I would assume was a Hebrew name? I’m not sure why though so that might just be me

I’ve seen a few people say that!
Hanora [name_u]Louise[/name_u] would be darling! <3

Idk if this makes sense, but I would automatically pronounce Hanora as huh-[name_f]Nora[/name_f], but Hannorah as han-[name_f]Ora[/name_f]. Probably because the double n and h in Hannorah makes it look more like [name_f]Hannah[/name_f].
I like the original [name_f]Onora[/name_f] best, but that’s not an option. [name_u]Louise[/name_u] makes a great middle in any case.
