I find the name a bit tired, and even a little dated. There are other -ailey names that I like more, including just Ailey (or [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f], if you’re brave enough!). [name_f]Kaylie[/name_f] is my friend’s name so it feels the most natural to me personally.
I voted for [name_f]Kailey[/name_f], but also like [name_f]Kaylie[/name_f] and [name_f]Kayley[/name_f]. [name_f]Cailey[/name_f] is nice too. I think it’s a sweet name, and I only know one, so it doesn’t feel dated/overused to me. It feels fresher than [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] or [name_f]Kylie[/name_f].
I know a [name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f], so that’s the spelling I always think of first. None of them really appeal to me though, they all seem made up. I think the name is very overdone personally.
The sound is nice, but it does seem a bit tired—there have been a lot of Kayleighs and Haileys and Caitlins and Kaylas and other similar-sounding names in the last few decades.
But nothing against the name itself—I find it sweet and upbeat.
