[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Emerald[/name] sounds better than [name]Eva[/name] [name]Emerald[/name] to me because it separates the strong E- sounds at the beginning of each name.

Hadn’t thought of that but maybe so… Thanks!

[name]Betty[/name] is SUPER cute!!! It is way more special than trendy/generic [name]Eva[/name].

The only way I knew [name]Eva[/name] was trendy was looking at the name page for it. I’ve never met an [name]Eva[/name], tho I know several little Avas. I associate it with the actress [name]Eva[/name] [name]Green[/name], and I guess that’s why I like it so much, because it makes me think of someone so beautiful and elegant. I also love how simple it is.

[name]Elizabeth[/name] is #11 on the popularity list and [name]Eva[/name] is #84. Nameberry considers them both “classic” names. But does [name]Eva[/name] actually feel MORE trendy?

I voted for [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Emerald[/name] for several reasons. [name]One[/name], [name]Betty[/name] is an adorable nickname! Two, [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Emerald[/name] looks and sounds more pleasing to me. Three, [name]Elizabeth[/name] seems far less trendy than [name]Eva[/name]. It may technically be higher on the charts, but [name]Eva[/name] seems lumped in with [name]Ava[/name], [name]Avery[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Evie[/name], [name]Eve[/name], et al.

[name]Betty[/name] and [name]Joe[/name] are so retro they are cool again!
So my vote was for [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Emerald[/name].

I voted for [name]Eva[/name]. I think it sounds so pretty and feminine. I do like the nn [name]Betty[/name] for [name]Elizabeth[/name] though. It’s so cute and vintage.

Well luckily I have at least a year or so to decide.

My mom hates [name]Elizabeth[/name] but… I’m sure she’d learn to love it if she had a grandbaby named that.

[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Emerald[/name]! I love the classic, versatile, regal [name]Elizabeth[/name] paired with the whimsical, unexpected [name]Emerald[/name].

Yes, [name]Eva[/name] is very trendy and IMHO, way overdone in today’s pop culture. It is not classic enough to make me think it stands the test of time. All I think of is the desperate house wive [name]Eva[/name] Longoria. [name]Betty[/name] is seriously adorable beyond words.

[name]Elizabeth[/name] has much better flow

Y’all have about convinced me of [name]Elizabeth[/name]'s superiority. Thanks for your responses.
