I love hearing different opinions on the names I like, both positive and negative. I thought i’d make a game where you give and receive one of each.

Positive: A beautiful flower.
Negative: It’s a very common name.

Positive: I love nature names!
Negative: It means regret.

Positive: is is uncommon, unique and I quite like occupational names.
Negative: I personally don’t like any nickame possibility for [name_u]Hayward[/name_u].

Positive: Has a really cool, unique sound
Negative: People might struggle with spelling it

Negative: might be chronically mispronounced

positive: vintage and sweet with a few absolutely gorgeous nicknames!
negative: would sometimes be mispronounced as [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]

[name_u]Florence[/name_u]?

Positive: Namesake [name_u]Florence[/name_u] [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_m]Welch[/name_m] is an awesome ambassador for the name.
Negative: for many it’s old lady territory still.

I know a couple of little Flo’s and I love this vintage choice

positive: really pretty with a few nn options! (ellie, elle, vira)
negative: elvira: mistress of the dark is a strong (and possibly negative) association

Andromeda?

Positive: It’s a really pretty name and the Greek mythology relation is cool.

Negative: It’s easy to mispronounce and some (not me lol) might think the [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] connection is too strong

Positive: it sounds beautiful, summery and somewhat unique
Negative: I personally don’t like the nickname [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]

pos: it’s one of my favourite names, and it’s a perfect gender neutral name :]
neg: jas is kind of a meh nickname && the steven universe connection is there

negative: the main association is the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] character

Positive: a great gender neutral name that gives imagery of summer and has the cute nn gus!

Negative: quite trendy right now so i don’t see it as a timeless name yet, also could be an odd choice if baby not born in august (this was hard because i love the name!)

Positive: [name_u]Unique[/name_u] and very feminine

Negative: [name_f]English[/name_f] speakers would likely instinctively pronounce it like “pillar”

Negative: nicknames arent great and has had a massive popularity jump in the past years
