I love the name [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m] and know that no matter what people will eventually want to shorten down a 4 syllable name. I do not like the name [name_m]Ty[/name_m] so I’m trying to come up with other suitable nicknames that he could go by. Any suggestions?
I’d say Tibey would be a good option, pronounced TIE-bee. Maybe [name_u]Berry[/name_u] or [name_m]Bear[/name_m], depending on how you pronounce the second syllable of [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m]. Honestly, even something like Tibe would steer people away from [name_m]Ty[/name_m].
[name_m]Tiberius[/name_m] is a cool name. Good luck!

I think Tiber is a cool nickname that could definitely work, since it’s a really famous river. It could easily catch on since it’s the name of a recognizable thing in the world AND it’s easy to say. (By the way, [name_m]Tiberius[/name_m] is an awesome choice!)
Others have suggested, but I immediately thought of [name_m]Bear[/name_m].
I can only think of one other name that has not been suggested, [name_u]Rhys[/name_u].
What if your son decides that he wants to go by [name_m]Ty[/name_m]?
