[name]Demetri[/name] is my favorite. It just looks most clean-cut to me. I think I’ve seen the [name]Dmitri[/name] spelling most often, though… so that might be easiest?
All those different spellings made my mind boggle with indecision for a second.
[name]Dimitri[/name]. Great name.
I think [name]Dimitri[/name] is the easiest as far as knowing how to spell it when you here his name & knowing how to pronounce it when you see it written down. Plus, I only know one [name]Dimitri[/name] and that’s how he spells it… so that’s what I think of as the “right” way to spell it.
I like both [name]Dmitri[/name] and [name]Demetri[/name].
[name]Dmitri[/name] for me. Streamlined and smooth. De- breaks up the complete feeling for me, into making it feel like a prefix a la [name]DeAndre[/name] and [name]Deshaun[/name] and doesn’t add anything nice.
I don’t believe in apologizing for names not being English.
I like [name]Dimitri[/name] and [name]Dmitri[/name]! All of the De spellings look really wrong to me! I agree with PP that it looks more like something along the lines of [name]DeShaun[/name] than such a classy name like [name]Dmitri[/name]. I think it is a great name and goes so well with [name]Josef[/name]
[name]Dmitri[/name]. That’s how it’s spelled in [name]Anastasia[/name].
I perfer the spellings [name]Dimitri[/name] and [name]Dmitri[/name]. ([name]Dmitri[/name] being my favorite.)
Ending the name with an “i” just gives it more of an unique approach, which I love, than with a “y”
