Interestingly, I grew up (and still live) on the Upper [name]East[/name] Side of Manhattan. Most of the boys I grew up with had pretty normal, if maybe a bit vintage (for the time) names - [name]Jacob[/name], [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Simon[/name], [name]Tyler[/name], [name]Matthew[/name], [name]James[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Adam[/name] (born early 1990s). But there were some exceptions, boys with family surnames as given names, for example. Some that come to mind:
I don’t know if these names are of limits but from Gossip Girl which takes place in the Upper [name]East[/name] Side:
[name]Eric[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name]
[name]Bartholomew[/name] “[name]Bart[/name]” (Father of [name]Charles[/name])
[name]Charles[/name] “[name]Chuck[/name]”
[name]Nathaniel[/name] “[name]Nate[/name]”
[name]Carter[/name]
[name]Johnathon[/name]
[name]William[/name] III “[name]Tripp[/name]”
