Pretty Woman Connection - Will it matter?

[name_u]Baby[/name_u] #2 is due in a few months and if it is a girl we really like the name [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]. We have a son already named [name_m]Edward[/name_m] (nicknamed [name_m]Ed[/name_m]) and i think [name_m]Edward[/name_m] ([name_m]Ed[/name_m]) and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] ([name_f]Vivi[/name_f]) are so cute together. Only problem is, the other night Pretty Woman came on the TV and I realised that they are the names of [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_m]Roberts[/name_m] and [name_m]Richard[/name_m] [name_m]Gere[/name_m]'s characters in the movie.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think this connection is too close or will it slide through with few people noticing?

I don’t think it’s an issue.

Those names are great together! I don’t think it’s a problem.

I don’t think it will matter. I know twins named [name_u]Michael[/name_u] and [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] which are the name of the main couple in Grease 2

They’re not ultra-unusual names so I think it’s fine. If you were calling your kids [name_u]Kim[/name_u] and [name_m]Kanye[/name_m], that would be a different story. Lol.

I think you’re fine! I don’t think most ppl will make the connection and those that will will know its unintentional.

No, it’s fine.

It’s fine. I think few people will make the connection, honestly.

A few people may make the connection, but I don’t think it’s a big deal. My daughter is named [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and the only people who have even mentioned Pretty Woman to me were my coworkers, but they make fun of everyone’s names anyways so it didn’t bother me. [name_m]Edward[/name_m] and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] sound great together, very strong and classy.

I don’t think it’s an issue. I know Pretty Woman is a classic, but most people I know that are my age (19) haven’t even seen it. I doubt many people will make the connection, unless they really love that movie.

I would make the connection immediately but I have seen this film like 30 times…I don’t think your childrens’ peers will have this association.

I think you’re fine. It’s not current pop culture.
