I absolutely love it.

[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_f]Athena[/name_f] seem meant to be next to each other [name_f][/name_f]— so perfect.

[name_f][/name_f]

I do wish that they hadn’t repeated Elizabeth… [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would’ve been just fine.

[name_f][/name_f]

This may just be me but it almost feels sacrilegious for a member of a [name_m]Royal[/name_m] family (divine right and all that) to use the name of a Greek goddess [name_f][/name_f] FWIW I feel the same about [name_f]Countess[/name_f] [name_f]Athena[/name_f] (born princess of Denmark)

[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_f]Athena[/name_f] are so adorable together [name_f][/name_f]- very unexpected yet they seem so natural as sisters!

[name_f][/name_f]

I do wish it was just [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or even [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] just to switch up the honor names a bit. [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a stunning combination though!

I didn’t get this, but I am absolutely obsessed with little sisters [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_f]Athena[/name_f]! [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] officially claiming her place as the best royal baby namer. Repeated middle names aren’t my favourite, but at least it’s not her first name… (looking at you, [name_m]Wills[/name_m] and Kate).

Haha I remember being slightly disappointed when [name_m]Prince[/name_m] Louis’s name was announced [name_f][/name_f]- though it fits him perfectly!

Yes, now I realise he couldn’t possibly be named anything else :joy:

What a beautiful name! I do kind of agree [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would have been lovely :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:[name_f][/name_f] on its own.

[name_f][/name_f]

Such a tiny sweet kitten. Best wishes for them.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and her husband are quite the baby namers! :two_hearts:

Well…

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Athena[/name_f] could also relate to [name_m]Athens[/name_m].

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] great-grandfather [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] of Greece was born in [name_m]Athens[/name_m]. Her father is also Named [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. She.might have chosen the Name of a way to indirectly honor her father after everything that happened.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] was [name_f]Princess[/name_f] Margarets middle Name…

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Just[/name_m] a thought

I’m also not a fan of repeated middle names, but I do wonder if little Athena being the first great-grandchild born after the death of QE2 is the reason her middle name is Elizabeth.

I’m always curious as to why parents decide to give one baby only 1 middle name, and the other baby 2 middle names. It seems very asymmetrical to me!

Anyways, I always get these things wrong. Here’s to the next royal baby name to predict!

Stunning

Definitely one of my favourite celebrity/royal combinations recently

I wonder if Athena is a nod to Prince Philip’s Greek heritage?

That is what I also wondered about above.

Might be a combination of [name_m]Philips[/name_m] Heritage and a way to honor [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] father

@LittleJennyE[name_f][/name_f] @Anna03[name_f][/name_f] the more I think about it, the more I’m convinced that the baby honours [name_m]Prince[/name_m] Philip’s heritage! I also just realised that both girls are (indirectly) named after cities to which they have ‘familial ties’ (italy + greece)

Such a gorgeous name!

Yeah. And [name_f]Rose[/name_f] might ve a nod to [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] whose middle Name was [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
