Hello, happy [name_f]Monday[/name_f] to one and all.
As our boy list continues to go nowhere, it makes me endlessly happy to feel confident and excited about using [name_f]Tess[/name_f] or [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] if our delivery surprise is a girl. It would be honoring a [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] we loved and admired, and who is no longer with us.
Whether we keep the A at the end or not remains to be seen, but your feedback and support have really tipped the scale on favor of both. Perhaps a middle name to love would help us get even more clarity on [name_f]Tess[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].
All of our children have Hebrew or Yiddish names, some which were found on the family tree and others we simply loved/have a positive association for us: [name_m]Jonas[/name_m] [name_m]Feivel[/name_m], [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m], [name_m]Leon[/name_m] [name_m]Herschel[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], [name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Shoshana[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Hadassah[/name_f].
For [name_f]Tess[/name_f]/Tessa I was thinking about:
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
[name_f]Esther[/name_f] / but we already have [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]'s middle name which refers to the Biblical [name_f]Esther[/name_f], so .
[name_f]Aviva[/name_f]
[name_f]Ayelet[/name_f]
[name_f]Yocheved[/name_f]
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like any of these? Would you pair them with [name_f]Tess[/name_f] or [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]?
Tess [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] are my favorites! (I also love [name_f]Esther[/name_f], but possibly too close to [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]’s name).
Tess/a [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] or [name_f]Tess[/name_f]/a [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] would be absolutely stunning! [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] is probably my favorite.
I adore both of your options, but simple, strong, no-nonsense [name_f]Tess[/name_f] is the one that made my own list [name_u]Love[/name_u] it.
I honestly like it with all your middle name options, but I think [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] is my favourite too. It matches the length and weight of your other kids’ middles best IMO.
Tess [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] is also warm and beautiful.
Tess [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] or [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] would be stunning!! I also really like [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f].
Esther is so sweet, but, regardless of [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]’s name, neither [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] nor [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] flows well anyway.
Tessa [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] or [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] are amazing!!! I have [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] on my favorite list to honor my dad, [name_m]David[/name_m], & my grandma & grandpa, [name_m]Albert[/name_m] & [name_f]Annette[/name_f]. [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] is just a gorgeous name. But [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] is so sweet too. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is a little bit too ‘s’ heavy. [name_f]Ayelet[/name_f] is kind of pretty. [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] is a little more complicated, but interesting. Your kids’ names are adorable, by the way. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is a perfect addition.
I adore the thought of [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]! [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Ayelet[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] (actually [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Yocheved[/name_f] might be my favorite) would be gorgeous.
If you were leaning more toward [name_f]Tess[/name_f], that opens it up more to the -a ending middles likes [name_f]Aviva[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Ayelet[/name_f] works well with [name_f]Tess[/name_f] also.
Tessa [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] is stunning ! I am in the [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] camp because [name_f]Tess[/name_f] could always be a nickname so you get the best of both options
I also love [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
Tessa [name_f]Ayelet[/name_f] is beautiful! I also like [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] or [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f].
Tessa [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] sounds gorgeous. If you choose to go with [name_f]Tess[/name_f], I don’t think [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] flows quite as well, although it’s not bad, just a little less perfect. With [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] and [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Ayelet[/name_f] are stunning!
I personally prefer [name_f]Tess[/name_f] to [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], but it feels a bit more nicknamey to me for some reason, in part because the only [name_f]Tess[/name_f] I know has [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] as a given name, and frankly I like it better as a nickname myself. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] does feel a bit more of a solid option as the full given name, and there’s no reason why you couldn’t still call her [name_f]Tess[/name_f] sometimes.
I love all of your other children’s names, by the way!
