Prometheus, Beowulf, Thelonious, Icarus

Which of these do you deem “usable” for a brave namer?

Rubeus
[name_m]Ozymandias[/name_m]
[name_m]Dionysius[/name_m]
[name_m]Icarus[/name_m]
[name_m]Beowulf[/name_m]
[name_m]Odysseus[/name_m]
[name_m]Prometheus[/name_m]
[name_u]Florian[/name_u]
[name_m]Nicodem[/name_m]
[name_m]Torquil[/name_m] (recognizing I don’t live in Scotland)
Troilus
[name_m]Thelonious[/name_m]
Thélio (recognizing I don’t live in France)
[name_u]Campion[/name_u]
Gwyndion (recognizing I don’t live in Wales)
[name_m]Scipio[/name_m]
[name_m]Daedalus[/name_m]
[name_m]Viridios[/name_m]

Be honest but just. Thank you, Berries!

I have heard of a [name_u]Florian[/name_u] (m) recently, so that is definitely useable. Rubeus, [name_m]Icarus[/name_m], [name_m]Beowulf[/name_m], [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m], [name_m]Nicodem[/name_m], [name_m]Thelonious[/name_m] & [name_m]Torquil[/name_m] would all be brave choices but wouldn’t be outside the realm of possibility. The rest I would be hesitant on.

Rubeus!

Also [name_u]Florian[/name_u], [name_m]Nicodem[/name_m], and…I want to say [name_m]Thelonious[/name_m], too. Those 3-4 seem quite wearable to me.

All are very bold!

I adore the nn Wolfie, so I think [name_m]Beowulf[/name_m] is usuable!

The only other one I really like is [name_m]Dionysius[/name_m], but I don’t know why

I think [name_u]Florian[/name_u] is the most usable, followed by [name_m]Nicodem[/name_m] (although [name_m]Nicodemus[/name_m] is a name I prefer), [name_u]Campion[/name_u], and Rubeus. However, because I tend to avoid first names with overwhelming associations with people/characters, I am biased.

Oh, [name_m]Nicodemus[/name_m]! I forgot about that one, and I grew up with The [name_f]Secret[/name_f] of NIMH. How could I not remember the wise, old rat?

Florian is nice :slightly_smiling_face:

[name_u]Florian[/name_u] is the most obviously usable for me. I would absolutely love to meet a Rubeus!
I could also see:
[name_u]Campion[/name_u] (if people are using [name_u]Canyon[/name_u] this isn’t much different)
[name_m]Scipio[/name_m] (I could see pronunciation issues but I don’t think it’s unrealistic)
[name_m]Odysseus[/name_m]
[name_m]Viridios[/name_m] (iffy but pronounceable for sure)
[name_m]Beowulf[/name_m] (also iffy but [name_u]Wolf[/name_u]/Wolfie is getting more common so I think it fits in)

I like [name_m]Dionysius[/name_m], [name_m]Icarus[/name_m], [name_u]Florian[/name_u], and [name_m]Thelonius[/name_m]!

I actually knew someone named Théo, pronounced [name_u]Tay[/name_u]-o. (I live in the U.S.) so I feel like Thélio would be wearable.

Florian is very wearable in my mind. Easy to pronounce and familiar.
Rubeus is familiar to me because of [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]. It’s similar to [name_m]Reuben[/name_m], which most people know, so I think Rubeus is wearable. Some of the other ones would be okay if you were willing to use a nickname.
Ozymandius could go by [name_m]Ozzy[/name_m] or [name_m]Manny[/name_m], for example. [name_u]Nico[/name_u] for [name_m]Nicodem[/name_m] (I am familiar with [name_m]Nicodemus[/name_m] from the Bible but never heard of [name_m]Nicodem[/name_m]).
I am also familar with the stories of [name_m]Icarus[/name_m], [name_m]Beowulf[/name_m], and [name_m]Prometheus[/name_m], but I don’t think I would consider them easy to wear.
I would love to meet an [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m]!!! (Mainly because I love the story)
[name_m]Dionysius[/name_m]- I think I’ve met someone named [name_m]Dion[/name_m] before, so maybe.
The other ones I haven’t heard of before, and would find them difficult to pronounce/ remember.

My three favorites from this list would be Thélio, [name_u]Florian[/name_u], and [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m].

absolutely usable:
[name_u]Florian[/name_u]
[name_m]Thelonious[/name_m]
[name_m]Nicodem[/name_m]
Rubeus
[name_m]Torquil[/name_m]
Thelio

usable, but very brave:
[name_m]Beowulf[/name_m]
Gwyndion
[name_m]Odysseus[/name_m]
[name_m]Icarus[/name_m]
[name_m]Viridios[/name_m]

Also, I’m currently watching a show where the little boy is named Ozymandius “[name_m]Oz[/name_m]”, and I actually really like it!!

What? What show is this?

I think Rubeus, [name_m]Icarus[/name_m], [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m], [name_u]Florian[/name_u], [name_m]Nicodem[/name_m], Thélio, [name_u]Campion[/name_u], Gwyndion, and [name_m]Viridios[/name_m] are usable! They’re all really cool names!

American Horror [name_u]Story[/name_u]: Cult! they only referred to him as [name_m]Oz[/name_m] at first, and I was so delighted when they said his full name was Ozymandius! It was so unexpected!

All are very brave, but I wouldnt say any of them are ‘unusable’, but I do find some are quite heavy, or possibly hard to wear.

The most usable are probably Rubeus, [name_u]Florian[/name_u], [name_m]Ozymandias[/name_m], [name_u]Campion[/name_u], [name_m]Icarus[/name_m], [name_m]Beowulf[/name_m], [name_m]Thelonius[/name_m]
Thélio, [name_m]Viridios[/name_m] and [name_m]Nicodem[/name_m].

I love [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m], [name_m]Prometheus[/name_m] and [name_m]Dionysius[/name_m], they are very brave, but I would still say they are usable.

I went to school with a [name_u]Florian[/name_u], no problems there for him.

Nicodem, [name_m]Torquil[/name_m] and [name_m]Thelonious[/name_m] all seem wearable to me (and spellings aren’t too out there for any of them).

[name_f]My[/name_f] honest feeling here is that they’re all very bold choices apart from Rubeus and maybe [name_u]Florian[/name_u], so for the others it comes down to nickname-ability.

The ones i think are wearable because they have easy nicknames are:
[name_m]Beowulf[/name_m] ([name_f]Bee[/name_f], Wolfie)
[name_m]Nicodem[/name_m] ([name_u]Nic[/name_u], [name_u]Nico[/name_u])
[name_m]Torquil[/name_m] ([name_m]Tor[/name_m])
Thelio ([name_u]Theo[/name_u])
[name_m]Thelonius[/name_m] (Thelo)
Gwyndion ([name_u]Gwyn[/name_u])

Icarus
Beowulf
Florian

I am loving [name_m]Icarus[/name_m] and [name_u]Florian[/name_u] and Rubeus. The rest I would not be brave enough to use.
