I always want to say ‘‘see-la’’ but I know it’s most commonly ‘‘say-la’’ so have to mentally correct myself. That’s what I voted for too.

I think it’s great. I don’t know how I’d say [name_f]Sela[/name_f]. Probably the same.

I thought it was SEE-la

I live right next to a city called [name_f]Selah[/name_f] and it’s pronounced See-la.

As far as I know, [name_f]Selah[/name_f] is pronounced as both “say-luh” and “see-luh”, so I suppose it’s up to you on how you decide to pronounce it. I’ve heard it pronounced as “say-luh” more than “see-luh” but I always immediately say it as “see-luh”. That’s just from my personal experience though.

I would assume that [name_f]Sela[/name_f] is pronounced the same, so again, just whichever way you’d rather it be pronounced I think.

I’ve come across See-luh and say-luh before so i wouldn’t be surprised by either. I kind of just prefer [name_m]Say[/name_m]-luh

Much prefer say-luh

I’ve only ever seen the name on the Actress [name_f]Sela[/name_f] [name_m]Ward[/name_m], and she pronounces it see-la. I’m going to assume the See-la pronounciation would be the most popular in the States.

I know a little girl named [name_f]Selah[/name_f], and everyone says it [name_m]Say[/name_m]-la so that’s what I’m used to. But I’m sure different people pronounce it different ways based on how they hear/see it.

I always thought [name_f]Sela[/name_f] and [name_f]Selah[/name_f] were pronounced see-lah. There’s an actress [name_f]Sela[/name_f] [name_m]Ward[/name_m] which is my only association, but I’m not sure how she says it.

I would say [name_f]Selah[/name_f] and [name_f]Sela[/name_f] as SEH-luh (though I do want to say [name_f]Selah[/name_f] as SEE-luh sometimes upon seeing it written).
