I would say it ay-ella. I don’t think it’s the same as the Icelandic æla though because æla uses an asc (pronounced ash) which is not translated (to my knowledge) into Aëla.
I’m pretty sure it’s not related to the Icelandic word. I found a note that it might be a [name]Breton[/name] word but without the ë. I’m stumped by this one.

In the game Skyrim there is a character named Aela and they pronounce it “ay-ella”.
In gaelic it means ardour, but there tends to be different translations.
