That’s how I pronounce it too… at a stretch I’d say the most famous ‘[name]Zara[/name]’ is [name]Princess[/name] [name]Ann[/name]'s daughter, [name]Zara[/name] [name]Phillips[/name]. That’s definitely pronounced Zah-ruh.

Yep. Though re: renrose, a lot of people pronounce [name]Cara[/name] like [name]Sarah[/name] (I know one), and [name]Tara[/name] like [name]Tera[/name]/[name]Terra[/name] (though I think if they want [name]Tera[/name] they should use [name]Tera[/name]).
I would pronounce it like you are saying, although some may say it like [name]Sarah[/name].
