Pronunciation Questions

I love the name [name]Esme[/name] to, when I was reading twilight I was thinking it was Es- mee which I love, then I heard it as Es-may which I also love…[/quote]
Its Ez-may

I am wondering how to pronounce [name]Dashiell[/name]. I have found references to it being pronounced [name]Dash[/name]-eel, [name]Dash[/name]-ee-elle and [name]Dash[/name]-elle. I was wondering how it is usually pronounced.

I would pronounce it Dashel. But I don’t know!

I have a question about [name]Noemi[/name]. I was looking at the name [name]Naomi[/name], which I like, but I am interested in the variations - is it No-me or No-ee-me or No-ay-me? or something else like Namey? Hard to tell with foreign languages how ‘oe’ is translated. The French version has an accent over the e (and an additional e at the end - plus the link to the profile didn’t work), and the Spanish/Italian version just said it had the stress on the last syllable. I won’t know if I like it unless I know how it sounds. Thanks.

Well, as far as I know Italians pronounce almost every letter as it is written. So that would be something like No-ay-me then.
