Pronunciation & spelling help.

My beautiful daughter is named “Avelynne [name_f]Marie[/name_f]” she is 4months (and has 3 older brothers: [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] & [name_m]Grayson[/name_m]).

As time goes on I find myself calling her Av-uh-line. I officially love this pronunciation best.

What would be a similar spelling to Avelynne to convey the pronunciation Av-uh-line. (like Avenue and [name_f]Coraline[/name_f])? Or do you think the spelling as it is could read Av-uh-line?

As it’s spelled right now, I’d pronounce it as Av-uh-lin. To get Av-uh-line, I’d probably spell it intuitively as [name_f]Aveline[/name_f]. If you wanted to keep the Y though, Avelyne could work! It’s mostly the double N that makes me say [name_f]LIN[/name_f]. I hope this helps!

[name_f]Aveline[/name_f] would make the most sense to me

I agree with PPs.
