[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s acceptable to pronounce [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] as “Row-when-ah”? I think it’s prettier that way

Vårin and Eivor. These are two names from my county. [name_m]How[/name_m] would you pronounce them? [name_m]Just[/name_m] take a wild guess and go with your instincts, I’m just curious
- I think [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] is fine pronounced row-ee-nuh or row-en-uh.
- Vah-reen and eye-vor.
I pronounce [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] as Row-when-ah
-
I think it is, but there would be some corrections. I also love [name_f]Ro[/name_f]-when-uh, but I have it spelt Rowenna. Although I don’t usually like changing original spellings, I think it makes the pronunciation more obvious, and still looks legitimate.

I would say VAH-rin and AY-vor.
Vårin - vuh-rin
Eivor - ey-vor
- Yes for me.
- Vah-rin and Ay-vor.
