A name I’m considering is [name_m]Tad[/name_m] - it’s my dad’s name and I love it.
I’ve heard of [name_m]Tad[/name_m] being a nickname for [name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], and [name_m]Edward[/name_m]; can you think of other names for which [name_m]Tad[/name_m] could be a nickname?
Our last name starts and ends with S, so a name ending in S is out, and we have a not great association with [name_m]Edward[/name_m].
I would be good using just [name_m]Tad[/name_m], too, but it might be nice to have a full name option.
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] fits right in with our sibset of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] but we have a bad association with a Ted; maybe it can be overlooked…
I love [name_m]Tad[/name_m]. I honestly think [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], and [name_m]Tad[/name_m] sound really nice as a sibling set. I would just use [name_m]Tad[/name_m] as the full name, especially if that is what you plan to call him all the time.
[name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Tad[/name_m]!!
It can definitely stand on its own.
Other options:
[name_u]Taylor[/name_u]
[name_m]Thatcher[/name_m]
[name_u]Tate[/name_u]
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u]
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Tadhg[/name_m]? It is Irish and is actually pronounced ti-gue or tea-g but “[name_m]Tad[/name_m]” is in the name so I think it would work.
