We’re leaving the hospital with baby DD today and we have to give her name to the birth certificate clerk before we go!
She arrived on my mom’s birthday (yay!) so I think it’s fitting that we honor her grandma with her middle name somehow. The complicating factors… mom hates her name ([name_f]Angela[/name_f]), and my niece already has [name_f]Angela[/name_f] as her middle name. We thought that a variant of [name_f]Angela[/name_f] might work and would love your opinions?
DH really likes [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], as do I, and we love the meaning of the name but is the last combo pretty or too much of a mouthful? I’m so exhausted from pushing out an almost 10lb baby that I can’t think straight!! My 2 older kids only have one middle name each, but I don’t know if that matters.
I like [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f]! I’d chose that and call her [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] Jelly as a cutesy pet name around the house - so cute!
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Angeline[/name_f] or [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] are good too, all 3 are very beautiful names!
I wouldn’t do two middles, it’s too complicated for me. So many forms just have one spot for a middle name. And I like traditional monograms with 3 initials so what do you do for that?
Congratulations and good luck picking! You really can’t go wrong with the names you have!
I love [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] [name_u]Perry[/name_u] it’s so elegant and pretty. Also with this combination you get to use your beloved [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and honour your mother. I don’t see the issue with your last one having two middle names and your first two not. Me and my sister don’t have two middle names but my brother does.
I think [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] [name_u]Perry[/name_u] is the clear winner : )
I much prefer [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] to [name_f]Angela[/name_f] or [name_f]Angeline[/name_f]. [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] are both wonderful. I wouldn’t worry about the siblings not having the same number of middle names. I have one middle name and my sister has two. Especially since [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] is to honor grandma, and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is so well-liked by both you and your husband, they both deserve a place on the birth certificate!
I think [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] is very pretty.
\I wouldn’t be too concerned with using a variation of [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] unless it is very important to you. Your mother already has a namesake and she doesn’t even like her name, so if you wanted to go with [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], I don’t think she’d bat an eye.
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] [name_u]Perry[/name_u] is beautiful! I love the two middles trend too and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Angelic[/name_f] is a great combination, but if your other kids only have one middle, I would stick to that with this one.
The hospital birth clerk took pity on us and agreed to let us leave without filing the paperwork… we now have until 12pm tomorrow ([name_f]Monday[/name_f]) to make our final decision!
DH favors [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] [name_u]Perry[/name_u], I’m still not sure if that’s too long and am 50/50 on that and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] [name_u]Perry[/name_u]. Please keep the opinions coming, I really want to get this right as she’s my first girl, and (sadly) last baby!
