Quick name flow question

Quick question! Does [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] C___ie sound horrible? My husband wants our next boys name to be [name_m]Beckett[/name_m], and he also wants the middle name to be [name_m]William[/name_m] after his Dad, which I am ok with. My favorite name for our next boy (if we have one) is [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]. Is flow that big of a deal or does [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] just sound horrible? HELP!

His second favorite name is [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] so if we had 3 boys [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] and [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] would inevitably be the other 2.

I’m not a big fan of the flow of [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], nor of the repeated [name_m]Wil[/name_m]- even though and maybe also because they have different sounds to them. I do much prefer [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_u]Cade[/name_u].

I can’t say I like [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] but [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] sounds okay. I prefer the name [name_m]William[/name_m], I love it. And [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] sounds a lot better! I say go with [name_m]William[/name_m], if you guys want to honor [name_m]William[/name_m] so much as to give it as a middle name to both theoretical children. I personally would choose [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Bastian[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Adamec[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m], or [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Chester[/name_m]. I do love the name [name_m]William[/name_m], and to a very slightly less extent, [name_m]Beckett[/name_m]. I think they’d make a great sibset with [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] (which is one of my favorites as well). Good luck and I hope you have those kiddos to name!

Ok thanks for the replies!

@teenberryo13 I dont want to use [name_m]William[/name_m] that much but it is important to my husband, and only ONE theoretical child would have the name [name_m]William[/name_m] in it  Unfortunately I dont like it as a first name at all. Its sort of stuffy and extremely common in my state. And thank you I hope I have them too!

I think [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] is lovely

[name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] imo doesn’t really flow that well. It’s not terrible but not very appealing to me. [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] sounds more appealing but I personally don’t really like [name_m]William[/name_m] as a first name. Unfortunately I don’t really think [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] or [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] sound that great together, [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] sounds okay though. So I guess overall none of them are awful but I feel like there are better sounding combos out there that might work for you

Your probably right! Its hard with a SO who likes one or two names and doesnt want to discuss them anymore! Its also difficult when the middle name is decided before the first

[name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] has much better flow than [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]…so yeah, I agree with most of the others. I’d save [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] for a third boy.

I prefer [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]. [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] sounds a bit off.

I don’t like the alliteration

Beware, there is a singer named [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Beckett[/name_m], just to let you know in case you wouldn’t like the association. But I also don’t really care for [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], too repetitive.
