Basically, I’m creating this (full credit to the original creator) so that you can have two questions running at the same time. One simple rule, don’t answer the same question twice, leave it to someone else. Got it? I’ll start.
[name_m]How[/name_m] useable is the name [name_u]Asa[/name_u] for a boy? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think there’s a large possibility for bullying? (I keep thinking maybe they could connect it to a*s)
It has a very mystic feel to it. For a girl I think it’s nice but I don’t like it for a boy. I know a lot of [name_f]Aris[/name_f] that are girls so to me it’s a very girly name. Maybe without the nickname [name_u]Ari[/name_u] it would sound better for a boy.
Thoughts on the name [name_m]Hadeon[/name_m] (b)? [name_m]How[/name_m] usable do you think it is?
Middles for [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]? I was thinking [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], but I’m not certain. I want a name that means ‘free’ or ‘freedom’ or something like that.
Can you please copy and paste this link and vote on my name combos? I’m trying to narrow down my list and I want to get rid of the ones that don’t flow or sound good. Thanks in advance!
Voted on all!
And just wanted to say I adore [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] Lunaria [name_u]Blaze[/name_u] & [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_m]Bravery[/name_m] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Seriously kicking myself for not coming up with those two myself
I’m seriously struggling to come up with a middle name for my new love, [name_m]Bishop[/name_m]. The only thing I’ve come even close to liking is [name_m]Bishop[/name_m] [name_m]Saint[/name_m], but that’s taking the religious factor over the top, and I’m already struggling with loving such a religious name so hard (I’m adamantly atheist, and always have been. Normally I can ignore religious meanings, but there’s no getting away from the religious connections of [name_m]Bishop[/name_m]).
So, I’d like suggestions. I’m open to anything, and long as the religious connections are kept to a minimum. Bonus points for double middles.
[name_f]Arianwen[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. The names suit each other really well and with the length of [name_f]Arianwen[/name_f] I prefer the brevity of [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. It’s a beautiful looking combination. I do like [name_f]Arianwen[/name_f] [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] as well, though.
What are you thoughts on these combinations? Which do you like most? I’m always thinking about names for baby number 2 and these are some ideas. As I want something meaningful in the middle i’m sort of limited when it comes to middle names (these all have meaning in one way or another), which is why some are repeated:
I think they are all very nice, but [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] stood out immediately to me, as she’s just so beautifully unexpected. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] & [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] are also beautiful. If a little constructive criticism you appreciate, I do think that [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_m]Bastian[/name_m] [name_u]Jem[/name_u] & [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Elio[/name_m] are the weakest of the bunch as while they are all individually nice names, I don’t feel that they flow quite as well as the others do in these particular combos.
I’m not a huge fan. It’s meant for a boy, right? The most obvious nickname would be [name_f]Minnie[/name_f], and no guy wants that as a nn. I don’t mind the ‘ver’ ending. I like [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_m]Gulliver[/name_m]'s alright, but Miniver just isn’t my taste, it seems too harsh-sounding.
A big sister for [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] “[name_f]Lissie[/name_f],” [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m] “[name_u]Kai[/name_u],” and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Maya[/name_f] “[name_u]Josie[/name_u].”
I think it works in real life but [name_m]Finnick[/name_m] reminds me a lot of “finicky”. I don’t think [name_f]Nix[/name_f] works as the nickname either, [name_u]Nick[/name_u] would make more sense.
Does [name_f]Arianwen[/name_f] [name_f]Isla[/name_f] flow well?
[name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] if I had to pick but in my opinion I don’t think either work very well. I think a more fairy like name would work better.
Thought on the twin set [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] Thistle [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Jonathon[/name_m] [name_m]Peter[/name_m]? (All of the middle are honors)
