[name_u]Sailor[/name_u] feels like a teal or aqua.
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] is a bright red-pink.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is peachy pink or soft rose

Frosty-sounding, magical, soft, airy, light, fantasy-sounding boys names?
ex. [name_u]Frost[/name_u], [name_u]Kai[/name_u]

I answered this question on the https://forum.nameberry.com/t/new-quick-questions-thread !

Does this color (hex #ffaae5) fit [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]?

Yes, perfectly! Also I think this color (#33FFD8) also fits it well too.

Thoughts on [name_m]Hamish[/name_m] [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] [name_u]Horizon[/name_u]? Is it a good brother name to [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] [name_u]Noble[/name_u] or are they too different?

I personally prefer [name_u]Finley[/name_u] to [name_u]Finlay[/name_u], and none of the names are my style. It totally fits!

Does this color (hex #8e93f9) fit [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]? Oh, and how would you describe that color?

I picture a light purple color but that works too.

Middle name for [name_u]Harvest[/name_u] (g)?

(next poster answer @fearlessfirefly’s question)

@fearlessfirefly isn’t #8e93f9 sort of a light purple?

@winterdragon04
I would say it’s a periwinkle

Thoughts on [name_m]Calix[/name_m] [name_m]Archibald[/name_m] [name_u]Arrow[/name_u]? What would you name his brother (first name only)?

I like it. I think [name_m]Archibald[/name_m] balances out the name nicely, while [name_m]Calix[/name_m] and [name_u]Arrow[/name_u] are fun, playful names. I would name his brother [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] ([name_m]Ozzy[/name_m]).

What do you think of Ąmęłîą Κłą Błû and Κłą Kłąrą?

I like the flow of [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_u]Blu[/name_u], but I’d prefer the spelling [name_u]Blue[/name_u]. [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Klara[/name_f] doesn’t flow well to me. Maybe [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] or [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] instead?

[name_u]Harvest[/name_u] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] or [name_u]Harvest[/name_u] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]?

ooh so hard! Both names are superb!! I slightly prefer [name_u]Harvest[/name_u] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].

[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Alondra[/name_f] Song or [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Alondra[/name_f] Song?

I’m leaning toward [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] though it was a tough decision.

What do you think of Ârmęł (Welsh - Bear Prince) for a boy? What about in the pairs Thęødørę Ârmęł, Šębąštîąn Ârmęł or Ęłîąš Ârmęł? What about Thęødørę Bąŷ, Šębąštîąn Bąŷ or Ęłîąš Bąŷ?

Ooh, I’ve never heard [name_u]Armel[/name_u] before, but I love it! It sounds like a character in a medieval fantasy. [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_u]Armel[/name_u] is a bit awkward to say, but [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_u]Armel[/name_u] both sound lovely. I’m not really sure about the repeated b sound in Sebastain [name_u]Bay[/name_u], and I’ve never particularly liked [name_u]Elias[/name_u], but I really like [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]Bay[/name_u].
What are three middle names that work well with [name_f]Thea[/name_f] (THAY-a)?

[name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f] Maisri

Which one sounds better: [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_m]Elio[/name_m] [name_u]Foxglove[/name_u] or [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_m]Benaiah[/name_m] [name_u]Foxglove[/name_u]?

[name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_m]Benaiah[/name_m] [name_u]Foxglove[/name_u] flows better to me.

If I were to add to the sib set [name_m]Fergus[/name_m] and [name_m]Hamish[/name_m], would the other sibling names have to be Scottish or could they be something like Jemison (g) and [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]?

1 Like

I don’t think they need to be Scottish, just distinctive in their own way. I can see [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] fitting in but to me Jemison is a completely different style. It all depends though really if you need a matching sibset (which i don’t think is strictly necessary)

Does this color (hex fit #a89cc4) [name_f]Polly[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Amalia[/name_f]?

I imagine [name_f]Polly[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Amalia[/name_f] as more of a soft yellow (like #fcf4a3), but that could work too!

What could be a full name for the nn [name_f]Pixie[/name_f]?
