Hello there, I am hoping someone can help me! Quite simply I suck with girl’s names. I struggled last time (luckily had a boy) and I’m really struggling again. I like names that sound, to me, kind of like they belong to an aged eccentric writer or artist, but at the same time seem quite aristocratic. Unfortunately I don’t fit in to the middle class set by a long way but I love these names nonetheless.
The following list are the names that I like, but nothing is perfect, so I am hoping for some similar suggestions:
A lot of the names on your list are on my long list too.
[name_f]Nyla[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Lara[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]
[name_f]Nova[/name_f]
Some similar names that I have on my list are…
[name_f]Clea[/name_f]- I like Clee-uh, but is also said like [name_m]Clay[/name_m]-uh
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Oriana[/name_f]

Your similar names list:
[name_f]Clea[/name_f]- I like Clee-uh, but is also said like [name_m]Clay[/name_m]-uh - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this, especially pronounced [name_m]Clay[/name_m]-uh.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]- I like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] but prefer [name_f]Annie[/name_f]. I especially love [name_f]Annie[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] like in the [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] stories but I feel the hyphenated [name_f]Rose[/name_f] looks tacky.
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]- I do like this but don’t love it enough thanks to the margarine and the [name_m]Adams[/name_m] Family.
[name_f]Oriana[/name_f]- I like this
[name_f]Bea[/name_f]- said like bee- [name_u]Love[/name_u] it, but we’d use [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and shorten it
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]- [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like it
[name_f]Mya[/name_f]- Dislike [name_f]Maya[/name_f]/[name_f]Mya[/name_f] because in 50% of the main world religions it means delusion/evil and having studied religion this is all I think of!
Some names you might like…
[name_u]Ilia[/name_u]- This is pretty
[name_f]Aya[/name_f]- said like eye-uh - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it
[name_f]Ayla[/name_f]- again, eye-la. I like this a lot more than [name_f]Isla[/name_f] - I love this but wonder if people will just assume I can’t spell [name_f]Isla[/name_f].[name_f]Niva[/name_f]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u]- Beautiful name but it’s just having the guts to use it!
[name_f]Liora[/name_f]-[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t love it
[name_f]Laina[/name_f]- [name_u]Love[/name_u] this. Also like [name_u]Lane[/name_u].
[name_f]Briar[/name_f]- I adore this but I don’t know I’m confident enough to use it. It’s gorgeous though.
[name_f]Livinia[/name_f]- [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like it.
[name_f]Nola[/name_f]- Absolutely beautiful.
[name_f]Lola[/name_f][/QUOTE]-Soso, I think it’ll be incredibly popular really soon.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] but don’t think I have the guts to go ahead, not that my OH would even agree! [name_f]Nola[/name_f] is definitely a new favourite, thanks!
