I just found the biggest name crush I’ve had in a long time. [name]Ralph[/name] seems perfect to me - it’s unique but has a long history, is classic yet quirky and fun. But I know some people think it’s just plain ugly. What do you think of it?
[name]Ralph[/name] is not my style, but I don’t want to destroy your love for it. My gut reaction to the name is that it sounds dorky, but I know that if I saw it on the right baby (or child, or man), I could appreciate it on that person.
[name]Don[/name]'t like it at all. My brother [name]Ralph[/name] is clever, quirky and funny.
I lovvvve ralph. Very cool name. On my list for the next child (a few years away i hope). However do remember that ralph is also slang for vomit.
I think of that movie “[name]King[/name] [name]Ralph[/name]” , just isn’t appealing to me. It’s sounds too harsh . Although [name]Ralphy[/name] comes to mind also, and I love the little boy in [name]Christmas[/name] [name]Story[/name]!
I love the name!
Although where I come from it could be seen as a little pretentious.
I automatically think of throwing up, a really bad guy I went to high schoo with, and beer gut old men. Sorry.
I absolutely [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Ralph[/name]. It’s purely masculine…you don’t find a lot of that nowadays. Classic, substantial, with the adorable, nostalgic, Christmasy nickname [name]Ralphie[/name].
I think [name]Ralph[/name] is adorable. It makes me think of the character from [name]Happy[/name] Days. So I picture a quirky redhead that’s full of laughs. The only real negative is the slang for throwing up but I almost never hear that so I really don’t think it would be a big issue.
[name]Ralph[/name] is a great name! Underused, clever, and spunky.
I really like [name]Ralph[/name]. I kind of worry about its connotations though, so if I used it, I’d probably hop it on over in the middle name slot.
