What do you think of the boys’ name [name_m]Ralph[/name_m]?
What sort of middle name would go best with it?

I like the sound of the name, but it still does bring to mind throwing up. Maybe [name_m]Ralf[/name_m] or [name_m]Rolf[/name_m] - similar sound, but without the connection to puking.
I would pair it with [name_m]Edmond[/name_m], [name_m]Bryant[/name_m] or [name_m]Winston[/name_m].
I think of throwing up and [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] Macchio. Sorry but I am not a fan at all.
[name_m]Ralph[/name_m] is a name I have never really thought about. Now that you mention it, it is quite nice! It does remind me of [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] from the Simpsons, but the connection is fairly loose. It seems like an excellent classic-sounding name ready for revival. I like it.
Not a fan of [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] either for the reasons others have already posted - sorry! Maybe [name_m]Raphael[/name_m]?
I like Raph and [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] better. But [name_m]Ralphie[/name_m] is kinda super cute. I think [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] [name_m]Simon[/name_m] is a good name.
[name_m]Ralph[/name_m] is my father in law’s name and I’m not a fan since it does remind me of throwing up, but his middle name is [name_m]Edward[/name_m], which improves the name a little.
I quite like [name_m]Ralph[/name_m]. It has a handsome, vintage, British feel to it and reminds me of [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] Fiennes.
I know of the throwing up association but didn’t think of it and have never heard it used in real life. It may be regional slang that doesn’t apply to where you live.
