Here’s my favorite to least favorite-
[name_u]Julian[/name_u]- 
This has been one of my top favorite boys for nearly twenty years. It’s just so charming & handsome & smart & kind. It has a beautiful ring to it. It’s well known but not too common. I love the nn [name_u]Jude[/name_u] as well.
Oscar-Handsome & vintage & a little quirky. A really fun choice. Easy to say & spell, known but not really popular.
Basil-It’s beautiful & a bit artsy & exotic. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the fun nn of Bash.
Casper-Gives me similar vibes as [name_u]Basil[/name_u], but maybe a bit less unusual. Which could be a good thing. Cute nns here too. I adore Caspi.
Desmond-Smart & handsome & interesting. I like the nn [name_m]Dex[/name_m]. This one hasn’t caught on in being popular either, which is nice.
Malcolm-Gives me similar vibes as [name_m]Desmond[/name_m]. Maybe a bit heavier, but I still really like it.
Alistair-This is cute. Kind of cheeky & nerdy in the best way.
Miles-Not a bad name, but it’s just kind of over done in my area & feels a little boring.
Edmund-I prefer [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] or [name_m]Edwin[/name_m]. [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] just sounds so stuffy. It’s a nice choice anyway. I just don’t like the sound that much.
Emrys-I don’t know. It’s alright, but ‘Em’ names feel really over done.
Lars-Never though that this one had a pleasant sound to it. Maybe better as a nn for [name_u]Laurence[/name_u].

emrys - so simple and yet so cute and unique. a really adorable name, so underrated imo.
casper - really nice name, also underrated imo. i much prefer jasper (it’s in my short list) but casper is really nice too! has the ghost association tho (not good nor bad, but something to take into account)
miles - never really got into this name before but recently i saw a 5 year old kid named miles in instagram who’s a music genius, he’s just so smart and adorable and made me really like the name. i also realized i love its sound and the country vibes, and it’s not overused so that’s good too
alistair - used to like it a bit more before but that’s just personal i guess, the name’s really nice and unique! ali as a nn is so sweet
basil - so cute! bass / bas as a nn is so so cute. always love nature names, and this one is a classic one
julian - never really liked this name bc of the spanish pronunciation and bc it’s not as unique in my country as i would like. but the english pronunciation is much better imo and the nns jules or jude are so so adorable
lars - i immediately think of lars ulrich, so i have trouble picturing it on a little kid, but the name is really nice actually, so unique and simple but cute!
malcolm - i love the nn mac! malcolm is not quite my style of names but is nice. i also think of malcolm in the middle so my association to the name is too strong
oscar - i don’t get the appeal to this name, maybe it’s because it’s so dated in my country, but i do love the nn ozzy
desmond - i just don’t like this name ://
edmund - same as desmond, don’t see the appeal to this name, but the nn eddie is cute
