What does everybody think? I’m starting to love it …

Also, any mn suggestions? We need two, and were thinking [name]Raphael[/name] ___ [name]Peregrine[/name] … perhaps something with two syllables in the middle?

Thank you

Honestly, I did not love [name]Raphael[/name] until I saw your last name. It flows perfectly with [name]Peregrine[/name]. As for a middle name, how about [name]Santos[/name] or something along those lines.

I love the nn [name]Rafe[/name] for [name]Raphael[/name].

Lets see for a middle

[name]Leon[/name] [name]Miles[/name]
[name]Leon[/name] [name]Rene[/name]
[name]Rene[/name] [name]Leon[/name]
[name]Llewellyn[/name] - This came up the other day on the boards for a girl. But is def. an interesting boys name.

[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Zane[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]

Thank you all

[name]Just[/name] to clarify, [name]Peregrine[/name] is the second mn, not our surname.

We liked the flow of these suggestions so far :
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Francis[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Ivo[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Samson[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name] - DH loves [name]Samson[/name]

But none of the names have bowled me over (I actually adore [name]Rufus[/name], [name]Susan[/name], but [name]Raphael[/name] [name]Rufus[/name] made me say Waphael Wufus …) …

We were playing around with some French names, and like the flow of [name]Raphael[/name] Esm” [name]Peregrine[/name] … Esm” is traditionally unisex, and it would be his middle name so not frequently mentioned, but I would like some opinions on whether you think it would be a problem that it is much more common as a girls’ name now? [name]Both[/name] DH and I really like it …

I love [name]Raphael[/name]! Because it’s viewed by many as feminine, I personally wouldn’t pair [name]Raphael[/name] with [name]Esme[/name], which I only know as a girl’s name. (I’m not a Twilight person, but I’m sure the legions of fans who have read it will associate it with a girl, too.)

[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Benoit[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Blaise[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]/[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name] [name]Blaise[/name] (although it kind of sounds like you’re setting birds on fire…)
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Baxter[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Cassius[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Dexter[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Hugo[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Mercer[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Remy[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name] (a bit feminine, but [name]Remy[/name] feels less feminine than [name]Esme[/name] to me…pretty R heavy, though…)
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Vincent[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]

Good luck, Twinkle!

[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Cornelius[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Darius[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Mathias[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Leonis[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]

I love [name]Raphael[/name]! If I ever have another baby and it is a boy, would probably use [name]Raphael[/name]. I think [name]Rafe[/name] is a very masculine nn.
Can I give you my honest opinion on the middle names? I hope you won’t be offended!
I personally think [name]Peregrine[/name] sounds quite pretentious (unless it is perhaps a family name or you are very upper class). It is the kind of name that might sound really great now but could be really embarrassing to a 14 year old boy! Personally, I prefer [name]Raphael[/name] with something a little more classic and traditional, unless you have family to honour or exotic roots. (I am probably just being a boring [name]Brit[/name] but I did want to give my honest opinion)!

[name]Raphael[/name] Demas [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]August[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Oscar[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Dane[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Elias[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Isaiah[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Desmond[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Amos[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Everett[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name] [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]

I had no idea [name]Esme[/name] was unisex. I think most people believe this is a girl’s name, especially because of the Twilight books. I definitely would not use it for a boy.

I really love your choice of [name]Raphael[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]. It is super cool.

I also like disa_lan’s suggestion of [name]Raphael[/name] [name]Silas[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]. Either one flows perfectly!

Hello, everyone

I’m pleased to announce the birth of [name]Raphael[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]! [name]Cyrus[/name] was the name of a great-uncle of DH’s, which sold it to us in the end.

Mummy - [name]Peregrine[/name] was DH’s grandfather, and I have always loved the name.

I was still tossing around [name]Theodore[/name] as a fn an hour after the birth, but finally DH decided to break the ridiculousness of that to me; you see, I like [name]Theodore[/name] for the nn [name]Teddy[/name], but DH is [name]Rupert[/name], and I am [name]Winifred[/name] ([name]Winnie[/name] virtually all of the time). [name]Alas[/name], with [name]Rupert[/name] [name]Bear[/name] (this may only have been known in [name]Britain[/name], I’m not sure) and [name]Winnie[/name] the Pooh, [name]Teddy[/name] is too much

I’m afraid I probably won’t get around to posting much for a while, as I am absolutely shattered, and I am just about to dash out - my best friend, the one who is naming her daughter [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Rose[/name] (second mn has yet to be decided upon) nn [name]Posy[/name], thanks to all of your expert opinions, has just gone into labour, and I am meant to be at the hospital with her. She’s two weeks early, but the doctors have been saying it shouldn’t be a problem, so fingers crossed!

Thank you all for your suggestions, help and support - it was very much appreciated!

Congratulations!!! I love [name]Raphael[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name]. I was wondering where you had been.

Wow! Congratulations, Twinkle!!! I was just asking about you last night, and am so thrilled to hear your happy news! I love your baby boy’s name, and I hope that you and [name]Raphael[/name] are doing well!

Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

Congrats, Twinkle!!! [name]Love[/name] the name!

Huge congratulations twinkle! [name]Raphael[/name] is a gorgeous name. [name]Peregrine[/name] is rather fabulous too, especially to honour a relative!
The first few weeks are v tiring but it will get easier soon!

Hooray for Twinkle and family! You had your little boy! And [name]Raphael[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name] is an adorable name. I love all three names so much. I haven’t heard of [name]Rupert[/name] [name]Bear[/name], but I believe you. [name]Say[/name] hello to [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Rose[/name] to be’s Mum for us. Best wishes to her and little [name]Posy[/name]. I was wondering where you were, Twinkle.

Well, it’s been exhausting, but things have settled down a little and I hope to be able to post more regularly again.

[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Rose[/name]'s second middle name is … [name]Mabel[/name]! I think it’s just got such vintage charm, and little [name]Posy[/name] is adorable.

[name]Raphael[/name], who I of course think is the most beautiful baby to have ever graced the [name]Earth[/name], is being called [name]Raffy[/name] most of the time - slightly effeminate for an older boy, perhaps, but it suits my little baby to a tee at the moment!

Oh, how I’ve missed posting here!

I adore [name]Raphael[/name]. [name]Raphael[/name] [name]Jude[/name] [name]Peregrine[/name] would be perfect in my opinion.

I’m so glad you chose [name]Raphael[/name] I love his name. I’m also happy your back posting here, we enjoy your posts

[name]Welcome[/name] back, Twinkle! I’ve missed you!

Best wishes to you and [name]Raphael[/name]!
