Haha! I’d give them a solid 9. They chose all good names for babies/kids/adults. I didn’t give them a 10 because style-wise they’re not all the best match, but still work together!

Now ask me to rate MY ability to name babies [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Or[/name_f] at least my baby… I love his name so I’d give myself a 10 :joy:

I would give my parents a 6.

Solid names but they are definitely tied to the time period they were given.

Haha :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: I think maybe a 6? My name is unique, but my sister’s is super common / popular, so we cancel each other out a bit. We also don’t have middle names, so I’m deducting points for that.

10/10, they chose names that work in both [name_f]English[/name_f] and our native language, not overly popular but still familiar.

as to their choices of middle names…

8/10, the basic names of our era with the most common spellings. I think my name suits me very well and same with my sister.

7/10

I think my name is classic universal choice that works in both my mum & dad’s community but is a little predictable of the time.

About 6/7. They gave my sibling an unusual name (for where we live). They gave me a popular name which is quite annoying.

I’d give them a 5/10. I love my name and have no complaints, but my brother’s name is both extremely unusual and usually assumed to be female, and he’s hated it most of his life.

I’d day 7.5!!
[name_f][/name_f]They gave us both familiar names (although mine is way more common than my brother’s, and they chose it BECAUSE it was in the top 10 which is unfathomable to me :face_with_spiral_eyes:)

However middle names, 10/10!! They were way ahead of trends

I’d say 8!

Excluding my youngest sisters’ name (which is stylistically quite different from the other 5 of us), they gave us names that are easy to spell + say, and wear very well on people of any age. They’re not ā€˜timeless’ per se, but neither will they end up very dated. I don’t go higher because #6’s name is very different to the others…although an absolutely beautiful name!!

1/10 bc they’re just so different… unless u know the family history then its a 10/10 lol

9/10!

[name_f]My[/name_f] name sounds modern but has history, and it’s more popular now than when they picked it 30 years ago – they were trendsetters! They chose the most classic of multiple spellings too. (Think along the lines of [name_f]Evelyn[/name_f] or Noelle).

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] sister’s name is about as classic and timeless as they come with lots of nickname options. It honors multiple family members. She goes by a nickname that wasn’t overly popular for our generation and suits her well.

One point docked because our first names alone don’t really ā€œgoā€ together, but with our MNs (mine is more classic, hers is more modern) it would be a 10/10.
