Overall most of them have pretty meh names. The names that stand out that I actually like are:
[name_u]Fern[/name_u] [name_f]Elliana[/name_f] - I don’t love [name_u]Fern[/name_u] but I think it’s a good choice for them and I think [name_f]Elliana[/name_f] is so pretty
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] isn’t my fav but is at least modern and cute
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_u]Jo[/name_u] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], don’t love [name_u]Jo[/name_u] at all, I’m not sure what is is with fundies being obsessed with the middle name [name_u]Jo[/name_u] for their girls
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] [name_f]Praise[/name_f] - I actually like [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u], and I LOVE [name_f]Praise[/name_f]. A lot of people made fun of them for this one but I think it’s a super cute name and a nice way to honor their faith without choosing a stuffy Biblical name. [name_f]Faith[/name_f] names can still be fun and modern.
[name_f]Bella[/name_f] [name_f]Milagro[/name_f] - [name_f]Bella[/name_f] is ok, but [name_f]Milagro[/name_f] is beautiful.
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Martyn[/name_m] - love [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] x1000, but I really don’t like [name_m]Martyn[/name_m] but I get that they chose it as an honor
Jordyn-Grace [name_f]Makiya[/name_f] - I like [name_u]Jordyn[/name_u], don’t like the double barrel, but I love [name_f]Makiya[/name_f] and it’s such an unexpected choice for them
[name_u]Josie[/name_u] [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] - I really like this name overall

Other notes: still can’t get over the similarities between [name_f]Jana[/name_f], Joy-Anna, and [name_f]Johannah[/name_f] (also [name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m] and [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m] :person_facepalming:)
I still think that at the end they were trying to copy the [name_m]Bates[/name_m] naming style more (and literally copied some of their names)
I love how each of the kids has very unique naming styles but I also wish they thought a little more about the names they were choosing and how they’d mesh with their cousins like [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f], and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] all being born at the same time must’ve been confusing

Side note: [name_f]Jill[/name_f] and [name_m]Derick[/name_m] had a miscarried baby they named [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_u]Bliss[/name_u] and [name_f]Joy[/name_f] and [name_u]Austin[/name_u] also had a miscarried baby they named [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]

It still kinda bothers me that everyone has a name typical for their birth year, and then there is 14 year old [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] [name_f]Danielle[/name_f].

opinions on names only, because if I included my thoughts on the people themselves, they’d probably all get zeros (except the little ones, of course)

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Robert[/name_u] - 2/10 - [name_u]James[/name_u] is fine, but overused and plain. I really don’t like [name_u]Robert[/name_u]. Would be higher if he went by [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] or [name_u]Jem[/name_u], which are the only redeeming things about [name_u]James[/name_u], in my opinion.
[name_f]Michelle[/name_f] [name_f]Annette[/name_f] - 4/10 - not a fan of [name_f]Michelle[/name_f], but again, it’s fine enough. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Annette[/name_f] though, I almost gave the combo a 5 just for how lovely [name_f]Annette[/name_f] is.

[name_m]Joshua[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] - 5/10 - almost didn’t rate this one, but I already said I wouldn’t let me opinions influence my thoughts on the names, so. I like [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], and love the alliteration here. Again, [name_u]James[/name_u] is overused, even more so in the middle spot, so that brought the score down.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] - 4/10 - her name feels very old compared to her age, but it’s fine, just nms.
Mackynzie [name_f]Renee[/name_f] - 0/10 - sorry to all the Mackynzies out there, but this spelling is just a no for me. [name_f]Do[/name_f] they call her a cute nickname? That might bring the rating up to a 1 or 2 depending.
[name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] - 4/10 - this family has a common theme of using tragically boring names. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is fine, wish the middle wasn’t [name_u]James[/name_u] again. (I’m all for passing on family names, but maybe they could’ve used something different, just once)

John-David - 2/10 - don’t like [name_u]John[/name_u], but [name_u]David[/name_u] is nice. This feels like a very common boys double barrelled named though, so I’m not a fan.

Also, it just reminds me of fish. Almost gave it a 1 because [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is lovely, but couldn’t bring myself to do it because :grimacing::grimacing::grimacing:
[name_u]Henry[/name_u] Wilberforce - 1/10 - I’m so sad I have to rate [name_u]Henry[/name_u] so low - it’s such a sweet, gentle name, I love it a lot. However, Wilberforce is a No. (side note, [name_u]Henry[/name_u] [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m] would’ve been so cute :pleading_face:)

completely agree with your [name_u]Israel[/name_u] point ! it could be okay with some people but for them and their specific beliefs, it is concerning. once knew someone called ‘Argentina’ because their parents did a Christianity ‘volunteer’ trip there (in a particularly Jewish area) :grimacing: (always found it confusing)
