Today, I’ve been crushing on [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]. what are your opinions on this name? Can you picture it on a modern little girl?
It feels a bit dated, but I could easily see it on a little girl.
Yes-- I think it’s great and should be revived! If you wanted a nn other than [name_f]Lori[/name_f], you could use [name_f]Lainey[/name_f] or [name_f]Rainey[/name_f]-- I like them more.
It’s my mom’s name so I love it! It reminds me of the girl from Uptown Girls. I think it could definitely be revived.
It’s my Mum’s name, so I would definitely use it as a middle, but I find it a bit too dated to use as a first. It is pretty though, and if you love it, then use it! x
I’ve actually only heard [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] on 2 little girls. One was my mum’s friend’s daughter, and the other was a girl in my old school’s sister. They were both adorable, so I can definitely imagine it on a little girl.
I like it a lot. It is a tiny bit dated, but I think it deserves a comeback!
Im biased on it. Its my middle name, my great grandmothers first name and will be my first daughters first name. So dont steal it!
I can see this on a little girl, a teen and an adult and an old lady.
I plan on naming my daughter [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and calling her [name_f]Lori[/name_f].
I think it is definitely ready for a revival: a sweeter, gentler version of [name_f]Laura[/name_f] or [name_f]Lauren[/name_f]. It is really pretty- just don’t use it if you live in Australia, because the beautiful [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] will be turned into LER-RAYN in an awful accent, and it makes me cringe when I when I hear it.
