Peope who know or are parents to real life Meadows, what nickname/s do you use? Context: My husband and extended familyare big nicknamers, but I just can’t think of any for [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]. I don’t feel like the nicknames have to be usable outside of the family, or that we have to choose nicknames before the baby arrives (the best ones evolve organically), but it’s nice to know there are some options out there! Ex- We have a Cl.audia that goes by [name_f]Cloudy[/name_f], [name_m]Claude[/name_m], [name_f]Claudie[/name_f] B, La Ti Da, Lala…so obviously silly names are fine! I just don’t want to choose [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] and then have nowhere to go.
I can’t answer your question from experience, but I think Meddie/Meadie would be my go-to! It’s unique but its similarity to [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] makes it feel natural as a nickname. [name_f]Doe[/name_f] also works, and so does Mo (which can also turn into [name_m]Momo[/name_m])
I don’t know any Meadows but if she were my child, she’d get Meddie, Med, Doey, Doe, Dodie, Eddie, Edie, Mee-Mee/ Mimi and possibly Meow as a family funny one. There’re also Meadow adjacent names to use, like Daisy, Clover, Misty & Bluebell etc. Hopefully she mostly gets Meadow, it’s beautiful!

I don’t know any Meadows, but off of the top of my head, I think you could get [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Dodie[/name_f], [name_f]Dodo[/name_f], [name_f]Dolly[/name_f], or even [name_f]Edie[/name_f]! [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is probably my favorite, but [name_f]Dodie[/name_f] feels the most intuitive to me.
I think Mo is a cute nickname for [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], there’s Mae/May, [name_f]Minnie[/name_f], [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] or [name_f]Dodie[/name_f]. I also instantly thought of Bunny/Bunnie for some reason.. perhaps the visual of baby bunnies hopping through a meadow?
