Regal boys 👑

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries,

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m] would work together as siblings?

I know that their sounds are so contrasting; [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] sounds much softer with its ‘d’ as opposed to the harder double ‘t’ in [name_m]Otto[/name_m]. But I’ve got to say that I do like the royal connection these two names share

Any suggestions for an equally regal name to go with brother [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] that’s not too popular? Despite liking many boys’ names, I still can’t find that one that quite stands up to [name_m]Edmund[/name_m]’s just yet.

Thank you in advance :hugs:

I think they sound sweet together! They both sound soft to me. [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] is another option.

Thanks for saying this! I was concerned that [name_m]Otto[/name_m] is a bit ‘hip’ right now. But after looking up its history I can see that it’s been in use for a very long time, which is nice to know :relieved:

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is a bit too ‘hipster’ in comparison to [name_m]Edmund[/name_m]? I really like how [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] is one of those timeless names and I just wonder if in years to come, [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] will be very much tied to this current moment in time. I’m just going by its sudden recent spike in popularity

Edmund and [name_m]Otto[/name_m] are such a coold set. Both have such charm and elegance.

I’ll also suggest [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and…
[name_m]Victor[/name_m]
[name_m]Walter[/name_m]
[name_u]Stanley[/name_u]
[name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]
[name_u]Thaddeus[/name_u]
[name_m]Barnaby[/name_m]
[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]
[name_m]Bruno[/name_m]

I adore [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] but I agree he might just be ‘having a moment’. [name_m]Otto[/name_m], on the other hand, is just as timeless as [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] imo. With [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] I also love…

Theodore
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_m]Louis[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u]

Not my fave, but if you like it that’s cool. [name_m]How[/name_m] about the classic [name_m]William[/name_m] with its many hip nicknames: [name_m]Will[/name_m], [name_m]Wills[/name_m], [name_m]Willy[/name_m], [name_u]Liam[/name_u], etc.? To me [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is another classic that is not boring.

I think they would work perfectly well together. I don’t think [name_m]Otto[/name_m] sounds too harsh at all! I actually quite like them as a pair.

I think [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m] are great together! I find them complementary without being too similar, which is great. And I don’t associate [name_m]Otto[/name_m] with any particular time period, so I’d say it’s relatively timeless! I do think [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is having a bit of a moment, so I’d pick [name_m]Otto[/name_m] over it for that reason.

I think they go great together! I think [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] is more formal, but they work well nonetheless!
