I’ve always liked it but could never picture myself having a [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] of my own until now. I think it’s adorable and I really like the nickname [name_m]Solly[/name_m]. After watching a football (soccer) match earlier there was a young player named [name_m]Solly[/name_m] and seeing him made the name even more usable.
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] is the combo that I like at the moment but that could change, perhaps something like [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it. So smooth and dignified. It makes me think of winding rivers. There’s also [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] as a possible nick, from “[name_m]Sol[/name_m].”
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Lucius[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Lior[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] ([name_u]Luca[/name_u] is handsome too)
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] - I like how solid this one feels. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] is a nice contrast to the Biblical S&J.
I love [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]. As [name_f]Emma[/name_f] said, it’s smooth and dignified, and it also has a lightness to it that I really love. [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is all soft yellows and oranges to me. Some people see it as too solemn, which I can understand, but to me [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] reads more studious than solemn. I see him as the more introverted, intellectual type. Solo could work as a nickname too, I suppose.
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] is perfection.
I love [name_m]Solomon[/name_m], especially with nickname [name_m]Saul[/name_m]/[name_m]Sol[/name_m]. [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] is beyond great.
I have always loved [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]- such a handsome name with a wonderful Bible story! [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] sounds great
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is the front runner of my boy list. I really love it. To me it rolls off the tongue almost musically and sounds gentle but strong. It has a beautiful meaning in its own right and I love that nickname [name_m]Sol[/name_m] has a great meaning if it’s own. To me it’s perfect and I hope I get to use it one day!
Thanks ladies, it’s great to see such positive feedback.
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is on the list then as [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u], which would also honour my grandfather and brother at the same time so that’s always a positive.
Final question, can you see [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] fitting in alongside possible brothers; [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Miles[/name_m], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Casper[/name_m], [name_m]Declan[/name_m] and [name_u]River[/name_u]? And then alongside possible sisters named; [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Pandora[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Theodora[/name_f], [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], [name_f]Eulalia[/name_f] & [name_f]Iliana[/name_f]? At the moment I’ve got the sibset in my head of [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] & [name_m]Solomon[/name_m], aka, [name_m]Ike[/name_m], [name_f]Tillie[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] & [name_m]Solly[/name_m]?
I really like [name_m]Solomon[/name_m], especially after reading Song of [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] by [name_f]Toni[/name_f] [name_m]Morrison[/name_m]. I definitely recommend the book. I think [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] would pair nicely with [name_u]River[/name_u], [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f].
I rate [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] right up there with [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m]. [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is serious, powerful, majestic and loaded with depth of character. It’s a name of substance that demands attention - and gets it! [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] would be a wonderful combo.
A friend of mine is in the process of adopting a baby whose given name was [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] (unknown middle name) [name_m]Hunt[/name_m]. Once all is a said and done his name will be [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] (with new last name).
