Our surname starts with K and is of Ukrainian background.
Also, this is our first child
Rita was my [name_f]Nanny[/name_f]’s name, [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] was my husband’s Grandmother and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] his Great Grandmother.
We have been thinking of using 2 middle names e.g. [name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_f]Rita[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] but not sure it works with these names. Using a family name as her middle name is really important to us and we aren’t too keen on using any variations.
I love [name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]! I get that [name_f]Rita[/name_f] is an honor name but I think [name_u]Remy[/name_u] honors [name_f]Rita[/name_f] in itself.
Remy [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] is my favourite followed by [name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]. I often like alliteration but I prefer the names do be of a different length; [name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_f]Rita[/name_f] are obviously the same. That’s just a personal thing though.
My favourite is [name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] but i do think [name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_f]Rita[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Tiana[/name_f] or [name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_f]Tiana[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] work I don’t think the full [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] fits with [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]
Okay! Here’s another name to throw in the mix!
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]? In my original post I mention my husband adores [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]… sure we wanted to use a family name as her middle name but the more I think about it it doesn’t matter all that much and she can always have a name all her own. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is a beautiful name, I’m just not sold on it as her first name and do worry about teasing. I’m more into shorter, cute, spunky names for first names, and if [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is a middle name surely she wouldn’t get teased for it?
