Renny?

What are your thoughts on [name_u]Renny[/name_u] as a nickname for [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u]?

If there are boys named [name_u]Remy[/name_u] running around, why not [name_u]Renny[/name_u]?

I kind of like it. It’s a little rhymey with our last name, but still.

Is [name_u]Renny[/name_u] dorky? [name_u]Or[/name_u] is it the next [name_u]Remy[/name_u]?

I think it’s cute!

Wouldn’t call it the next [name_u]Remy[/name_u], but it’s really cute and works for [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u]

I think it’s super sweet! I like it more than [name_u]Remy[/name_u] actually. I’m a big fan of just [name_u]Ren[/name_u] too.

It’s sweet. Hey @ethelmary, someone likes your pseudonym (just with a different spelling)!

Could also be a nickname for [name_m]Clarence[/name_m]

I think it’s really cute! It makes it a little more unique, having a slightly offbeat nickname

I love it! [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_u]Ren[/name_u] for short.

I think I prefer just [name_u]Ren[/name_u]. But [name_u]Renny[/name_u] is still cute. It’s a heartburn medication where I am though, which is probably why I don’t love it.

My first thought was [name_u]Rennie[/name_u] heartburn medication. Perhaps not an issue if you don’t live in the UK.

I really like [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] and I think [name_u]Renny[/name_u] is fine as a nickname.

@Maerad and @choupette, we’re in the US so I’m not too worried about a heartburn medication in the UK. But I’m glad you told me!

Same issue with the name [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] in the U.S. being associated with an allergy medicine.

Bring British, I think of the medication [name_u]Rennie[/name_u] too. But it has a cute/cool sound and totally works. Also love [name_u]Ren[/name_u] and [name_u]Laurie[/name_u]/Lawrie.

I like it! I do think of it as a nn for [name_f]Serenity[/name_f], but there’s no reason why it can’t be a nn for [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] as well.

It’s okay but I prefer [name_u]Ren[/name_u].
