Anyone else having the issue where if you click “reply” to a comment on a post, it refuses to actually show the person you’re replying to correctly in the thread?
Some of the time, I don’t get the little happy picture showing I’ve replied to a person. Which is awkward in a busy thread b/c the reply becomes meaningless / doesn’t make sense.
I’ve seen that as well.
Yeah, I’ve noticed this as well. Thankfully the person you’re replying to still gets the notif, but it does make it seem awkward in the thread sometimes 
I just went back through and deleted a comment in the “unpopular opinions” thread b/c it made zero sense without being a proper reply.
Yeah, I’ve done that. But I’ve started just tagging people if it doesn’t work.
I’ve noticed this occasionally too. I’m not sure when and why it happens, but if my reply is coming some way down a thread from the post I’m replying to I tend to quote a snippet instead, so I know it will definitely work.
