I would spell it [name_f]Raina[/name_f] because that seems most logical. But if her nn would be ‘[name_u]Reign[/name_u]’ then I’d go with Reigna or [name_f]Reina[/name_f].

[name_f]Reyna[/name_f] makes me think of [name_u]Percy[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m], so that’s definitely my favorite.

I would go with [name_f]Reina[/name_f] too. Its similarity to the word “reine” ([name_m]French[/name_m] for queen) makes it feel regal to me.

I would go with [name_f]Reina[/name_f], just like the Spanish word for queen. :slight_smile: My second choice would be [name_f]Reyna[/name_f], which is how my cousin spells it (it’s her middle name). I do kind of like [name_f]Raina[/name_f] since it makes me think of the rain though!

[name_f]Reina[/name_f] is definitely the most appealing, in my opinion. It feels unadulterated, while [name_f]Rayna[/name_f] and [name_f]Reyna[/name_f], despite longstanding and continued use, feel kreativ to me.

Definitely [name_f]Raina[/name_f], makes me think of rain, rather than [name_f]Reina[/name_f], which makes me think of the reins of a bridle.

I’m using [name_f]Rayna[/name_f], because its after my mom, [name_u]Ray[/name_u]. if I wasn’t I would use [name_f]Raina[/name_f], because I like the rain association.

I love [name_f]Raina[/name_f] the most. [name_f]Reyna[/name_f] would be my second choice.

I like the spelling [name_f]Raina[/name_f] better because that is the name of one of my favorite authors [name_f]Raina[/name_f] Telgemeier.

Maybe one day you could read her books to the owner of the name.

I think this is a pretty name! Not my personal style, but pretty. I prefer it either [name_f]Reina[/name_f] or [name_f]Rayna[/name_f].
